BEWARE - SCAMMERS!

DO NOT HIRE CANWEST ! CanWest Van Lines (CanWestConsolidated@gmail.com1-877-410-0547, 2350 Beta Avenue, Burnaby, BC) is not a legitimate moving company. They do nothing they promise to do. Their behaviour is egregious and you will not see your money or possibly your belongings again. They do not move you! They showed up the day before our house closed, hired local movers and a Uhaul truck when they got to the house, charged us twice what we were quoted, told us rather than moving our things and storing them in Cambridge it was cheaper to store it in Wilmington, then didn't pay the storage company who auctioned off our belongings. Their website is all lies. NAMA reviews isn't not a legitimate site. They are not physically located at the address provided, and no-one at that address has heard of the company. Gary Burton is not to be trusted. The company is a sole proprietorship registered to Isabelle Grastin. There is another complaint with the BC Better Business Bureau showing they are continuing to operate in this illegal and awful manner. Legal action has been taken. Please don't let them do to you what they've done to us and no doubt countless others. Read more
