Terrible movers who destroyed my ...

Worst experience ever. I needed to move a small 2 bedroom house to an apartment. The move was about 15 miles. I have an expensive piano and I asked them if they were experienced in moving pianos. They informed me that it would not be a problem. On the day of the move I told them the piano was the most important item and needed to be treated with extra care. They said no problem. They only used one strap in the truck and when they took a turn the piano broke through the straps and landed on my studio desk obliterating it. The piano suffered extensive damage including a cracked sound board (devaluing it in the worst way). They fall also smashed a huge mirror that was attached to bedroom furniture.  They told me we were only going 15 miles so I didn't need to get the expensive insurance and to just sign off on the cheaper insurance.  I didn't flip out on the movers.. I truly don't believe that they wanted that to happen.. in fact I tipped the 3 of them.. 20%. All I asked them was to make sure they reported this and helped get my piano fixed.  It was nearly impossible to get any type of response from the moving company and they didn't even refund me the extra money I paid for the piano move. They referred me to a BS website where I would get virtually nothing back AND they would take the piano because it was considered a "loss". They told me the studio desk would not be covered because it was made of particle board.. I said "it would have been fine if you HADN'T DROPPED A PIANO ON IT".  The reviews of the terrible company are accurate. They are a terribly company who will take your money and run. Read more

They were very pleasant

Moving is always stressful, or so I thought. Certified Relocations showed up exactly on time. They moved briskly, damaged nothing, were very pleasant to work with, never swore, seemed to enjoy their work, set everything down neatly and finished early. They arrived on time

We are having our basement lowered and had to move the contents to two storage lockers. Some of the stuff had been down there for 7 years. This review is long overdue but can't say enough good things for Certified Relocations! They were prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful with their response. Reached out to their on a Friday, had the movers in by Monday, and everything unpacked and set in Florida by Thursday. No hidden costs or extra charges either! This is the second time in two years that I've used Certified Relocations to move. Last year, I moved 10 minutes away. This time, I moved to a new city. They worked hard, treated my things with care and respect, and performed mind-boggling feats such as getting my piano up a flight of steps, angled through the door, and in place without a scratch. Horrible Company

These guys and gals are the worse people ever. The positive remarks are all from a year ago. I just want my daughters stuff to be delivered. Sitting 3 weeks without furniture is not fun. Now they say a truck broke down. I am guessing I was taken by a 1 truck company. When my stuff left my home 21 days ago it was packed nicely in a truck. It has since been moved out of the truck and put in storage. This is not what I signed up for. I am out of ideas, any help out there? Read more

Bad Move

After being over thirty days late my things arrived. I am missing 2 boxes,1 sofa , 2 broken lamps , 1 broken table, 2 china closets that have damaged bottoms from being moved with a hand truck instead of a furniture dolly, 2 boxes of chine completely smashed every dish bowl and cup broken even my ironing board is bent. ( I don't know how they managed that.) I still have about 10 boxes to open but its not looking good since they also look crushed and torn. This company is very unprofessional and should never be used.They must be stopped. So please pass this on. One more thing they don't have regular employees but hire them from CraigsList when they get in to town for loading and unloading so you don't who your letting into your home. Read more

They care about your belongings!

I found Certified Relocations after doing a Google search on movers in New Jersey. They were extremely professional when I called, and answered all of my questions. They care about your belongings! I have never had a move with no damage, scratches, etc. They assigned that day were true professionals, and I would use them again in a second. Fraud and Scammers!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT BELIEVE ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS, THEY ARE LIES!!!! I should have read yelp and not the many FALSE (Padded) reviews on other sites, as companies can and do hire people to 'give positive reviews' all at once to make a company seem reputable. I hired this company on 5/29/15 to move my thinsg from NJ to AZ. The sales person Michelle was very friendly and explained costs and such (They INITIALLY were cheaper than everyone else). I explained several times what I wanted moved and we even added extra boxes, just to be sure and I received an initial price of less than $2000. I also explained (several times) that my flat screen TV was NOT the panel type, but a newer 'stand on the floor type. We ended up with a lst of goods and 50 boxes. When the movers showed up, their list did not show my love seat and that the TV was not a flat panel. I explained that BOTH were to be listed correctly already. So, they told me it was an EXTRA $200 to ship this (due to volume). I disputed the extra cost, as I had far LESS volume due to having only 21 boxes (mixed between large and medium). They refused to budge and I was at crunch time and nedeed to be moved and had to pay them,. I called the company the following day and spoke to Michelle and she was very rude and nasty and tried to say I did not talk about the TV nor did I discuss the love seat. She then cut me off and sent me to 'customer service". I spoke to customer service and the person "Lee" was very helpful (the only person in the office who is helpful) and said he would speak to the owner. A couple days later he called me back and the owner was willing to only give me $100 as long as I signed some form. Well, when I read the form, it stipulated if I wanted the $100, then I would have to GIVE UP all my RIGHTS as a consumer, not be able to sue them or dispute them in court NOR say anything negative about their company in any way!!! I REFUSED to sign this and told them so and if the company wished to give me the refund without signing it..fine...if not then so be it. When the movers delivered my goods 3 weeks ago, I was missing 3 BOXES and the Hutch that goes on top of my ANTIQUE dresser. I called the company several times over the following weeks asking where my missing property was and they 'STONE WALL' me with excuses 'they are looking for it', it is the busy season and they have shipments, etc etc." Meanwhile, they had NO problem demanding they get paid IN FULL (the last portion some $800+) prior to unloading the truck and IT HAS TO BE CASH...which now I see, is because of how SHADY they are!!!! Guys did a great job

4 Guys two trucks One Long Day. The crew was troopers and never complained once! It was hot and stuff was heavy, but the guys did a great job with only one splinter damaged to show for it. It was a pleasure working with Certified Relocation and their team. Not only have they made it so much easier for our company to ship our trade-show booth to and from events, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that our 900lbs booth was wheeled to our designated location on the exhibition floor. I would definitely use them again!

These guys were awesome! They arrived on time and called 30 minutes early to say they were on their way. They would move slow and take up more time the 2 hours so they could charge me more. They hustled the entire time and even finished 20 min early. They carried everything up my very steep driveway and put it in the correct room. Nothing was broken and the movers were very nice.
