Thieves and hijackers!

DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES AND HIJACKERS! Easy Movers and Chico Movers are horrendous! I caught the mover fully ransacking 2 of my bins filled with expensive cosmetics and toiletries. He claimed “the lids didn’t close” ...yet they were closed leaving my home, down stairs, and loaded onto a truck. To make matters worse, I called to report the situation and was told I “must pay cash in full” because of the suspicion of theft. They absolutely do not care about the customer. The woman could not speak or understand English and we spent 20 minutes going in circles. At this point half of my belongings were being hijacked until I agreed to cash. They unloaded small items slowly 1 by 1 then stopped unloading 15 minutes early demanding extra money to finish getting the 2 big items, despite the fact that I helped load and unload the truck! They are predators and clearly created a racket to rip people off. They know once you book a move, load your life on their truck, you are at their mercy. Terrible service

They were 2 1/2 hours late, sent 2 boy (18 and 20 year old) instead of 3 men. Arrived in a 16 ft truck instead of the 24 ft promised. Furniture was damaged which i text pics to Christian and he never commented on it. He knew the move had to be done with 4 hours because of the elevator reservation times in both buildings and it was a small one bedroom apartment moving two building down. He assured they would be done within 4 hours after I stated that since they were late they may not finish in time and i could find someone else for a later date, he promised I would only be charged $270 if i paid cash (which i did) after the move he used my credit card information that he illegally kept on file from a move in 2019 and charged it with a sister company for an additional $480. I am currently pursuing charges under title 15 USC 1644 fraudulent use of credit card. Read more

Pick another service

I should have known from the beginning when I booked that this company wasn't going to be a good match. I tried calling and emailing to book my move. After over 6 times I finally reached someone and scheduled my move. It then took over 4 separate phone calls to get a confirmation of my move. Once the day came my movers arrived and they didn't looked too pleased that my Uhaul was filled with my furniture. There were eye rolls and head shakes as they brought in each of my items. One of the guys went through about 6 of my water bottles,which I don't mind providing but it was like he demanded it and left the empty bottles in my Uhaul for me to throw away. Lastly my $1300 dresser was dropped off the dolly. The movers admitted fault and called their moving company to let them know. I was told that I would be fully reimbursed if I could submit my purchasing information. Once I did I was told I would only be given $106 to replace the dresser. I wouldn't recommend this moving company at all!! So disappointed!! Read more

Chico moving did an efficient and excellent job in move, they dissasembled all the items that i need, even the furnitures that i did not ask them. they have an excellent image, they were fast and they were moving all the time. i would recomend this company always to everybody Read more
