Never Showed!

Review of Coastline Relocation of Goldsboro I put $0.00 for the price. I was told $150.00 per hour which would include the van, transportation, and three employees. I can't comment on their work because they never showed up. Approximately 3 to 4 weeks ahead I called and scheduled my move. I gave the receptionist my name, address, and phone number. Done and set, right? No! Monday comes around and I'm waiting. An hour and a half passes and I finally call to find out when they would be arriving. The same receptionist placed me on hold and when she got back on she said they took me off the schedule. She said they called on Friday and left two messages to confirm the pick-up on Monday. I never returned their call so they cancelled. I said I didn't have any missed calls, she read back my number. The last digit was off by one. I told her that's not my number and told her the correct number. She then became extremely rude and continued to blame me for not returning the calls. Well lady I had no calls to return...You wrote down my number wrong! I was never told I...the customer had to call you and confirm my pick-up. I c alled you to schedule it in the first place. She was not apologetic and did nothing to see what they could do to help us out. Now, I have to pay several extra days of rent because no other companies are available to move us until next week. I had to cancel my cleaners and now I have to take additional days off from work next week. If you book with this company make sure the idiot receptionist takes down your information correctly or you'll be the one out. No skin off her back! I am disgusted by this company and I will be sure to spread the word thru my very large military community who are always on the move. Would you recommend this mover to a friend? No Read more
