Incompetent Brokers - Scammed - DO NOT ...

The salesman quoted a good price to make my move from NC to CT. I made a list as they asked, and supplied multiple photos of what I needed to be moved. HOWEVER: On the contract, never thinking this was possible, they omitted a large amount of items to be moved. I made a list, i thought the list was on the contract therefore i did not read every items that they claim they were moving for the that price. Their incompetent and disrespectful subcontrators did not have enough room to take all of my things. NOTE: They hire cheap and unprofessional movers. My experience with continental

I had the pleasure of doing business with Continental Van Lines. I put in an inquiry for moving services and Frank from Continental Van Lines was the first person that called. I was instantly impressed by his promptness, professionalism, and clear speech. I was even more impressed with Frank once I was flooded with other companies' calls. I was going through an emotional rollercoaster due to an impromtu move. Frank was very sensitive to my circumstances and offered his advice on the most efficient way to move my belongings. Prior to hiring him for the job, I explained to him that I had been burned in the past by a moving company that I used when moving from Tampa to South Fklorida. I asked him how he could assure me that I would not have a similar experience with his company. He gave me his personal cell number, references, and his promise that his company would exceed expectations. I am delighted to say that his company definitely exceeded expectations. The movers that came out were extremely respectful and professional. They showed up on time to the job, did a walk- through and began work immediately. They moved quickly like robots and constantly reminded me of elapsed time. I looked on in amazement at the intensity in which these gentleman worked, stopping only twice for a short break. They worked extremely hard until the job was done. My final invoice was accurately quoted and all costs incurred were discussed and agreed upon up front. Read more
