It could've been done faster, but...

They did a cool job, they didn't do too bad. I rather have a flat rate than someone come for an hourly rate. It was a good experience I didn't have an issue. With a moving job, they like to procrastinate and then cost you more money cause they chose to procrastinate. So that's what I mean, a flat rate is always good, people are going to work more diligently if they know they're being paid a flat rate, whereas someone on an hourly rate, they can procrastinate they don't gotta rush and get the job done if they're getting paid by the hour. It was fine, but the charges were ...

They said they would charge me hourly and after finishing the move I found they were charging me for an extra hour and the movers told me if you go over five or 10 minutes into the next hour, they will charge for the full hour. ...They are also charging me for each tape, each foot of plastic for the wrap, which was mentioned in the email, but they don't tell you how much tape, inches or feet of wrapping they've used until the end. They charged for things we didn't ...

They charged for all this packaging that we didn't authorize and they also don't give you any proof of what they used or what they did. For example, they said they used 24 boxes of tape, but they never showed us the finished tapes. Read more

The guys were great

It was fantastic. I was happy, very happy with the time they showed, the time it took, the professionalism of the crew, no damage to anything. They even pointed out something - my dining room table, they pointed it out to me while they were taking it apart, there was one screw missing in the table leg. It was those little things. It was good but I guess I ...

It was good but i guess I misunderstood the pricing. Besides that the movers were great and everything went well. I thought it was $75 an hour and he explained that it was minimally three hours. I wasn't told that, in fact I was told differently. But it's water under the bridge now. The move went good. Read more

For the most part it was excellent!

For the most part it was excellent, however there were two boxes that were labeled "fragile" and "glass" and they had all my knick-knacks in there and they're totally destroyed. Everything is broken, it was just a bunch of glass, and they were collectibles. Other than that and those were very important to me, I thought everything went very well. Read more

Scratched floor was only problem with ...

It was good. The only thing was, the move in D.C. when one of the movers moved the sofa, he scratched the parquet floor pretty good. His partner that was moving with him saw it and you know the landlord that we moved from charged me an extra $250 because of the scratch on the floor. It was very, very noticeable, unfortunately. I just never had time to -- I had actually sent a message to one of the girls at your company, I don't remember her name off-hand, she said to contact somebody there and then I just got busy doing other things, but yeah, that's the only unfortunate thing that happened. Very pleased with their service

The only advice I would give to someone moving is not to do the hourly rate but to get a flat rate because you're not sure how long the movers will actually take to move you. It could be an estimated time but it could exceed that time-frame significantly, so get a flat rate instead of an hourly rate. The staff secured my furniture extremely well. They were polite, they were very disciplined, they listened to my requests and they solicited my decisions and my input, so I have absolutely no negative comments about the staff. Very quick and smooth move

The two-men crew worked very efficiently, the only real downside was that they were a little late -- that's because they were stuck at another job that took a lot longer than they had anticipated -- but they got me moved from one-bedroom to a two-bedroom in just about four or five hours. They worked very quickly, which I was impressed with. The pricing was a little off, it ended up being about $200-300 more than I was originally quoted. The customer service was fine, I didn't have any complaints, and I was very impressed with how they packed and wrapped the furniture that needed to be handled with care. Read more

Trustworthy and dependable movers

They did a good job, they were very professional and easy to work with. They did things on-time and I was very pleased with them overall. I was satisfied the most with the people who did the move, they were very helpful. I've had moving experiences before with people who were very difficult to work with. The packing and blanket wrapping services were very good as well. Their pricing was much better compared to other companies and I went with them because I felt like whatever research I was able to do told me that they were more trustworthy than some of the other companies. It turns out the packing did end up costing a lot more than what I was originally told it would, but I still think that the move ended up costing me less than it would with another company. Good service but it cost more

It was good. I was expecting a different price. I didn't count the materials they used. It was like almost $400 for the materials that they used and I wasn't expecting that. I received all the services that I requested. Packing was good. The crew was good. They were very methodical. They were on-time and everybody was friendly. They are good. Anyway we didn't have that much. It went smoothly. Pricing is pretty okay because we didn't move that far. I have received all the services that I requested. Actually, I already suggested them to my friend who moved just one week after we moved. We don't really need that much packing just a simple one when moving the furniture. They packed it well. Wonderful job done by the movers

My move was good. I was satisfied with the way they worked, how fast they worked and the quality of things they did like the wrapping the furniture and moving the things where they needed to be and they were very professional. The price wasn't reasonable at all. But I had to do what I had to do. I was satisfied because to pay to the other places in the town and the number of people that was provided, it was good. Movers were happy to help me

I was satisfied. There are two really hard working guys moving from steps up and down to the second floor apartment and they barely took break and they were really just awesome, they were very positive and enthusiastic, they were really happy to help that made a lot easier, and they took care of my stuff. The prices were reasonable. I am nearly one though but I would recommend them. I would say - I would use them again without reservation. Packing was done by myself. We just hired them for hourly rate to take the stuff out of my pod and bring to my apartment. They didn't phyically move me. Read more

Quick and effecient service

It was very good and they were quick. They were fast. I think they moved me in just a couple of hours. I think the way they packed things up, I had said I was gonna pack but like my original paintings. They were very careful. They cared to pack them up. Nothing was damaged. They were very fast. The price was reasonable. It was like $65 per worker because I had talked to someone who was cheaper and I say, well they may be just starting out or something. So I selected them. I talked to some people who were much more expensive closer to $100 and they told me it would be more expensive on the day I wanted. So I called back that company. That was good. I am trying to think how they can improve their service. I can't think of anything right now. I really can't. I mean it was first time experiencing a move by myself, coordinating one. So for me it was very good, excellent. Yes packing was done upto my satisfaction. Where I moved from I really didn't have any furniture other than a chair. or a couple of things but mostly I had my original paintings. So they were very careful with them. That was excellent. I ran into a problem with delivery of the item I wanted to move. The moving company quickly adjusted their schedule to meet my needs. They cleaned all packing materials and left the area in the same condition as when they arrived. I could not have asked for better service. Read more
