Great job

We used this company as a last minute need to move from one place to the next place. They were the only ones that we could afford and I must say they did a great job! They showed up pretty much close to the time we were quoted and they were friendly and took care of my belongings. It was a lot of work and they did a great job despite the stairs which would have killed me! I will be calling again this month to schedule another move. Unlicensed driver and movers with ...

Worse moving company that I have ever used. The movers showed up on time, however, in the process while waiting for the movers at the storage unit, the driver of the truck backed into my vehicle. After this, you would have thought care would have been demonstrated but was not the case. In addition, upon investigating and discussing with officer at the site the driver of the truck did not have his drivers license, and the two other movers had warrants out for them. The officer was very nice gave the driver a citation and informed the other two that they may want to get those warrants taken care of but would let them off. Manager was informed of the situation and never offered any type of resolution or apology for the issue. Instead was very defensive of the movers stating how great they are and he has had many good praises about their abilities. Would highly recommend staying away from them or if you do ask the manager to verify that his movers are legally able to work and do not have records. Read more

Excellent Movers

I have used DeMario Brothers for my last two moves and had great experiences both times. I have recommended them to family and friends and all of them were completely satisfied as well. They were organized which for me, is everything because I hate moving and tend to be a bit of a mess. Bad Customer Service

Beware Beware of this moving company, I just recently used them they was supposed to be at my apartment at 9am and didn’t arrive until 9:40. Ron did call and said that they would be running late, and he brought 2 extra guys with him. Everything went ok far as the move until later on that night when I was unpacking I discovered that my fiancé wedding band was gone. It was in the top drawer of my dresser I thought I packed everything in the dresser but I didn’t. The ring was in the ring box tightly closed and inside another box. So when I realized that I didn’t pack those things I opened the ring box and no dam ring. I pulled all the drawers out to make sure that I wasn’t tripping and I didn’t see the ring I knew I wasn’t going to find the ring because the type of box that it was in the ring wasn’t just going to fall out the box. So I called Ron and told him what was going on and he said that he would check his moving truck in the morning, and he also said that but definitely knows that it’s not in the moving truck. He also said that he would call me back that next day, I never heard anything from him that whole Sunday. So Monday morning I emailed him and he finally called me back and said that he looked in the truck and he didn’t see it, and he is very sorry about my loss and maybe I should look through the rest of my things I told him I only had the ring in one place, but I don’t think he looked at all I believe one of the workers took the ring. Now I can’t accuse anyone of taking something that I didn’t see but it’s mighty funny how the ring just came up missing once I moved. Also in the moving policy they have insurance for your possessions if they come up missing or damaged so I called him back to ask about the insurance he didn’t pick up and still haven’t called me back. I’m very disappointed in this moving company I try to support black owned businesses but this one is definitely off my list. So if you are planning to use them just beware and make sure you move all of your values yourself. I’m going to keep calling him until we get this resolved and keep leaving reviews. Read more

Job Well Done

I scheduled a move for 7/2/18 @ 12:00 noon.I was told they would call when on their way. I got a call at noon saying they were on the way. They arrived at 12:30 and went straight to work. They were professional and efficient. They gave helpful hints on how to arrange the furniture in my new home.I would recommend them to others, Price was reasonable @$100.00 a hr. No surprise costs and they did not intentionally try a prolong the move. Good Job! Read more

What The Hell Happened?

Move was set up for Saturday morning 10am. Got a call at 9:30 indicating they were running 2 hours behind schedule due to unforetold circumstances. We were ok with that because we were still doing last minute packing. 3 hrs later, we receive a call stating they are anticipating 2+ more hours behind. Wasn't happy about it but ok, as this was our only available move weekend. 2 hours goes by and we start calling to see when they are looking to start our move. No answer after multiple calls. At first, you know, it was really genuine. They showed up on time, they start moving on time. And then they start ... slowing down. So they sort of stretched it, more than what it needed to be. I winded up having what should have been $400, I ended up paying them almost $800. Read more

unprofessional! The worst!

UNPROFESSIONAL! My mother used this business before, she must have been lucky. They were suppose to be here at 9am. We called at 9:30 and THE OWNER didn't even remember to book us. His excuse was that he was at several birthday parties over the weekend. Whatever, we understood and begged him to come as it was imperative to move today. Demario promised that he would be at my home by 3....then 6...it's now 9:17 AND WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM ANYONE at Demario Brothers Moving Co. They are not answering the phone. This was the worst move ever! My appointment was at 2:00pm they showed up at 6:30 with no feelings as to how late they were! Didnt compensate me for inconvenience. Left a dent in my bedroom wall,as well as left a major item in the home I moved from, which I was charged a fee for!!! I would not recommend this company to ANYONE. heavy load

I moved a full house from storage to an apartment. Tight parking, no elevator, second floor unit with tricky twist and turns Some of my items were extremely heavy. DeMario Brother's (which was a random online pick) was PROFESSIONAL, EFFECTIVE , EFFICIENT AND RESPECTFUL FROM START TO FINISH! I watched them work as a team (I hired 4 men) move my belongings quickly, methodically and carefully. My furniture was assembled and placed properly. The only negatives of the day were they were an hour late and I didn't have any Kleenex (inside joke)! Excellent job guys! I will totally recommend your company! It wasn't the most professional move

We had a issue with them making a poor decision and moving the outdoor furniture through the house. They dirtied up the carpet. We were able to settle so I didn't have any problems with them overall, because I got a reduced cost for the move, but it was an extra burden that I didn't care for. Overall they did fine, it wasn't the most professional move but I guess that I knew that going in to it. It ended up working out fine so I wouldn't give them a negative mark. Read more

They were late, but they got the job ...

They were good. They were extremely late from the time we arranged, but to his credit he still showed up and didn't push me back to another day. They still got the job done -- they were at my house until midnight. He showed up four hours late but he stayed and got it done, so I'll give him that. I had a storage unit that was full so they just took everything from the storage unit and unloaded it at my house. I would tell future customers that for what I paid, you can't beat it -- simple as that. For the price, I have no complaints. It wasn't the most professional service in the world, but I didn't pay for that either. He did show up, his guys were friendly and they did get the job done, so no complaints. They could improve how they assess the timeline of their jobs so they have a little margin for error so they don't get in a situation where they're hours behind. Read more

Wonderful movers

My moving experience was wonderful, they were great and cheap. Everything was great, their personalities were great, they were very, very careful -- they were just wonderful and I don't have a bad thing to say about them. They only charged me $320 and I got prices all the way up to $800 from other companies. I just couldn't believe they moved me for that amount of money. They did a great job with packing too. I moved about only 40 minutes away from where I was, so I had been taking all my little stuff with me for a week, like my dishes. Every day on my way to work I brought stuff and put it away, so they didn't really pack anything but they were very careful with my bedroom outfit and they were just really wonderful with everything. Disappointing experience

I moved the same furniture several times over the last three or four years. It's only taken three hours - three and a half hours at the most - to move it. It took these guys six hours and they were just walking slow. They took everything off the truck and sat it down and moved it again. They ran up a six-hour bill on me and I didn't appreciate that. They scratched up my furniture. It was a bad experience. For future customers, I would say don't use them. They need to talk to their employees to speed up. Read more

Could improve their services

They can improve their professionalism a little bit, but in general it was good. However there were supposed to come at four and they come one hour later. I think their best qualities were that they were polite of course, and also their organization - how they organized the movement itself -- was very good. The price was reasonable compared to other companies and I definitely would recommend them, although they need to improve their timing a little bit. I did the packing and they just moved the furniture and some boxes, but they need to make sure that the furniture was not in the pathway, they have to take care of that. Read more

I was very happy with them. I liked just about everything. They were very careful with everything I was moving. They made sure that nothing was gonna get damaged. They were careful wrapping it all.
