It was a bad experience.

I wouldn't say it was excellent. I asked the lady if they had their own moving truck or if they were a broker and she said no, they are the company that deals with it but I ended up having someone else come over to actually do the move. Then there as a communication gap--I kept communicating to the lady that I would be out of country for so and so dates so my move should be scheduled for a specific date which did not happen. The actual moving company was pretty rude when I tried to call them to ask what was going on. Read more

Economy Van Lines did a great job with my move. Their price was the best in comparison to other moving companies in the town. I had an agreement with the salesman at this company. From the first time I talked to him, I knew I chose the good company. I moved from CT to FL. The service was great. I had an excellent treatment as well. The moving crew arrived right on time and brought all the necessary equipment. The guys did not waste any time. They packed all my things and took a great care of them. Professional all the way

After doing thorough research online, I decided to hire Economy Van Lines. I read so many great reviews about them. I am glad I hired them because their movers did a great job, the move was so smooth and I was really satisfied with these guys. They put all my things in the boxes, loaded them in their truck and took a great care of them. Nothing got broken or damaged. I had a collection of antiquities, very valuable and precious to me. I was afraid that some of the pieces might get lost, but everything was fine. On the moving day, the guys arrived earlier in the morning. They were young, friendly and energetic. While working, they only had two breaks of ten minutes. They were really hard working. The price was low, there were no extra charges and the service was great. The movers from Economy Van Lines took care of my move from Illinois to Delaware this past weekend. I move a lot for work and usually the company handles it but this time I had to. It's not easy trusting a stranger with your most prized possessions. The sales representative I booked the move with was great. Classy and professonal

Recently, I've worked with Economy Van Lines when my sister was moving from Texas to California, and she wanted to hire a moving company to move her furniture. She asked me if I would just oversee the process because she was too busy to deal with it (I didn't have to lift a finger, so I was fine). I've never used a moving company myself before, and I've always been a little iffy about them, but luckily the guys that helped with this move were really cool. They knew what they were doing, and were very careful yet fairly quick at the same time. While there was some furniture that ended up being a little beaten up they sent me a claim form to rectify the situation and I do feel I got the satisfactory service I was looking for. They wrapped and moved my furniture in a more careful manner than warranted for stuff from Ikea. I had a extra large appliance that I was moving as well, and they were totally cool with that. I had to pay a bit extra for the appliances and a piano that I have, but it was less expensive than what I paid in my last three moves. Read more

My moving went pretty stress free from start to finish. Julie provided me with a good price and i made the reservation. The day they showed up with too few men–only two not the three agreed upon–so the actual move took hours longer than it should have. They packed everything to my liking and I paid slightly extra than quoted but that was expected. I received my delivery finally 3 days ago and I just finished unpacking. Overview of my most recent move

Everything was wrapped carefully. The move was done in a timely manner. We appreciated the red carpet which protected our floors. Everything at pickup was hassle free, but then they came with a very large truck on delivery. It didnt fit so they charge me $350 extra which I paid, but it took me off guard.
