Crooks

They stole a $160 bottle of unopened Chanel cologne from me. They removed the bottle from the unopened package, then put the empty package back into the storage container. The one mover made several comments about my colognes, and even mentioned how good one of them smelled. Then, when I found the empty box a few days later while unpacking, I was told the movers do not go through our stuff. Clearly he did since he mentioned how nice one of them smelled. For compensation I was offered $20 from Eli, or was told I could call the police. Worst customer service experience I may have ever had. I even tipped the movers over $150. I had a friend who was about to use them, but because of my bad experience is using another company. Glad I caught it in time before they had their items stolen as well. Read more

They didn't tell me the initial fees up front, they told me after they finished the move how much everything would cost. I had to pay for their drivers to drive back to the office. That was $1,300 I wasn't expecting. Read more

good work just one issue

The movers were great . It was heavier furniture than I guess they expected but they got everything I ask for. They were professional. The only issue was the price . I spoke prior to secure a budget when they arrived I was told dye to the type of furniture and some utems were not boxed they needed to shrink wrap and etc... in addition the 3 hrs turned to 7. I was in a type schedule so we had to press forward but not every customer is going to be able to have that much excess .. I recommend they either do a pre visit like they do some or revamp their paperwork to identify things that would cause payment increase. The total price in regards to my items doesnt seem fradulent ..just wasnt what I was quoted... Afterwards my boyfriend n I located a scratch on the leather chair but it was minor and fixable and understandable considering the small space they had to get it through The workers worked their butt off and even though it was way off the budget I still provided a tip. I told her that I need the movers to be at my apartment at 8:00 because I'm working. And then I'm waiting and waiting and waiting and they called me and the driver was a little - not a nice person ... And he said, "There is a lot of traffic." ... I moved most of the stuff by myself. Read more

We paid $500 more than we expected

I called for an estimate, they gave me an estimate for around $530. I asked questions about what would increase that cost, and they said if they had to wrap anything fragile. I went over what would be fragile so that we wouldn't have to pay extra. Then when they got to the house, they quoted us again and it was $1,000. They said that was because we didn't have everything in boxes, we had some things in bags, which they never told us about. I felt that it was a bait-and-switch tactic to double the cost and tell a customer that in their house the day of moving. It was extremely unprofessional we felt, but because we had to move that day we had to go ahead and pay it. So we paid $500 more than we expected. So no, we are not happy with them. Read more

They were efficient and professional. They wrapped everything. I packed all my own stuff but the way that they secured it before moving it was excellent. We did not have one broken or damaged item in the move. It was an equal cost across the board, which was interesting. If you try to compare apples to apples they were within dollars of each other. We already have recommended them. My advice to future customers is to make sure that you compare them with at least one other company. I felt good that I did that. These guys were great. Thanks for the job well done. I don't know how you give an estimate until you come out and look at the house. It took a little longer than they had estimated, which I kind of figured they were underestimating the time anyway. Ironically, both the companies that I compared estimated the same amount of time. A nightmarish experience

Our property was highly damaged while moving and the owner of the company doesn't feel responsible for this. The entire house was strewn with debris and they didn't even manage to clean it up. They wouldn't unload our belingings until we pay them. It was as if they were hijacking us. Read more
