Well I got all my stuff alright but I ...

Well I got all my stuff alright but I was surprised at the prices. I was given a price by a woman I had spoke to, she gave me a price on the phone of $267. That's $89 an hour. Also I asked her for 10 boxes, no furniture, all clothing and books. I live at a nursing home and I had half a room there but I did have some books that I had piled up in a bookcase. I had a lot of clothes there, summer and winter clothes. They packed those up in a box or maybe 2 boxes for me. My books they packed them up in a box and some radios also, they packed the radios up in a box. They delivered them here at my nursing home where I am and it cost me 400 and some odd dollars. I was very disappointed at that. I was charged nominally I paid for boxes and nominally I paid for tape, and they gave me prices on those 2 items that I paid. Everything went smoothly until the ...

The move was for sending a few pieces of furniture to my sister. It wasn't a big move and I chose the company that called me pretty much 3 seconds after I finished the online form. They were the first to contact me. I gave them the details of what I needed and they immediately sent me back a quote, which was very reasonable. Everything went smoothly until the moving date. They came and took the furniture and then I found out after they delivered it, they claimed it was cash only. It was not very clear when UI booked the move, it wasn't really a big deal but I was not informed that it was cash only. My sister had to go and get the money and pay it. That wasn't only problem. She had a couch in the living room, and I sent her a couch, so she wanted to put the couch I sent into the living room ad the couch in the living room into her bedroom. While they were moving her couch into her bedroom they kind of scratched her door. Now her door has some scratches on it, which she was not happy about. They were good minus some scheduling ...

They did a good job, they were in and out, it was very fast. My only negative is that they really mis-scheduled and we had to do some scrambling. They had told us 12:00 to 2:00 and we had people waiting at the other end and they showed up at a quarter past 5:00. We required some facilities people to be there to assist with moving the equipment into our apartment complex and unfortunately they had gone home by the time the movers showed up. I tried to call and say, "Give us an idea of when you are gonna be there," and they didn't do that. So there was a bit of a hole in their customer service as well. But at the end of the day everything got moved and we were able to work out what we needed to to make it happen. Read more

It went smoothly

I think it went smoothly. They couldve been a little bit more careful with my stuff cause ive lost a few things... and they taped everything up except my jewelry box and then they said that it spilled so hopefully nothing fell out. Read more

Horrible experience

They just took so long. They weren't pressed for time at all. They broke my lamp. They didn't even put any of my furniture together. They just dropped it off. They didn't put my bed together or anything. They just threw everything down and they left. Horrible, Horrible. The price was okay. I thought they were overpriced for what they did. They didn't do much. And then they asked for a tip. I thought it was pretty gutsy. I have used moving companies before in the past but they were far better than these people. There were three men for this job and it took them way longer than I had a two-men job when the last time I moved. And they were great. They didn't ask for tips. I think it is pretty rude. If someone wants a tip you don't ask for a tip. Read more

Also, my brand new sound bar and speaker system wasn't working after they last touched it. I complained and they wrote me back stating and I quote "Our foreman stated that during your move you said that a previous moving company had left damages to your furniture. After reviewing the damages with the foreman as well as my supervisor we have concluded that Excellent Moving and Storage is not responsible for the damages done to your furniture.

My furniture had never been moved and had only been delivered to one location since purchase, which I have evidence. I am appalled at the lie to try and cover up and the deception by falsely advertising that if they damage my things I am insured. Buyers beware! They said the damage they caused is pre-existing so they don't have to process an insurance claim. I wish I had gone with another place because this is a very costly mistake choosing the wrong moving company.

There were no boxes to move just a small 1 bedroom apt living room, table and chairs, bed, media chest, and my TV and stereo took over three hours and a $100 difference beyond a fair estimate. Very well-executed move

I would like to admire the services done by this moving company. They were efficient, and the crew was very polite. Three men came to my home, and they did their job in a timely manner. They gave an estimate of 3 hours, and they completed it in 2 1/2 hours, which was an amazing job done by them. I would recommend them to my friends and family who want professionals for the job. Great experience!

They showed up early and had my entire move done in 3 hours. It was 95 degrees outside, and much hotter in my third floor apartment. The two guys they sent were machines! They did not stop once, I kept refilling the water bottles, and they didn't complain once. I would definitely use them again! Matt Read more
