You get what you pay for
I chose Express Star because of the price - I got what I paid for. I was told they’d arrive between 7-8am. What this meant was they’d leave Dallas (90mins away) at that time. They arrived at 10am and were friendly, so I stayed out of their way. I have a solid wood bed frame and advised the movers of the weight and complexity of assembly. They smiled and nodded - seemingly dismissing me because they were the expert movers and I was a silly girl. Well, it took them over an hour to disassemble the bed and then carried it down concrete steps with no blankets or protection. When we arrived in Houston they took 2 hrs to put the bed back together, probably because they informed my advise to take pictures along the way because it’s complex. I tipped generously and the night was done. A few days later (I left town the next day) I began unpacking and noticed they’d done significant damage to my custom walnut bed frame, presumably from carrying down the cement stairs with no padding and setting it down along the way. They claimed this was there prior (it was surely not) and refused a claim. I do not recommend this business at all. The price is low but you surely get what you pay for. If you have a very easy/basic move with nothing of value, they may be a good choice. But definitely not if you value your time or property.

Recommended by a friend and I've used them three times and couldn't be happier. They took good care of my stuff, were professional, friendly, and they work HARD. I was especially impressed by their solutions to moving "unconventional" items.

They destroyed our stuff.
They destroyed the back of one of our chairs. They were having problems. I heard them in the laundry room, trying to get our washer on the cart. And I don't know. They just wasn't really professional.

They were very professional, very hard working, they were very quick on the move, they were very polite, they offered any extra help, except they didn't' charge me too much their price was very very good and I was very happy with my moving experience.
