Hardworking guys
Very professional start to finish. Admin people we dealt with were good too, but the three guys who did our move - Lonnie, Samuel and Thaddeus - were awesome. Careful, fast and they navigated some pretty tight corners with larger stuff really well. Would definitely use them again.

super nice guys
We hired them on Saturday for a move from Orlando to Jacksonville. The crew was on time and ready to go. They packed the truck right and tight making sure they would use every space. Once we got to the home their time was running out and instead of just leaving things half away or telling us we have to pay more money they finished the job. The team was very respectful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to everyone. If needed I would definitely use the again.

Very stressful
Was told movers would arrive between 8-10 with a 30 minute text warning. At 9:40 when i had not heard from them I sent a text. At 9:48 I received a phone call saying they were on the way and would arrive in about 30 minutes. Shortly thereafter I received another call stating the driver was coughing and he would be stopping at Walgreens for a rapid Covid test. For the rest of the day I had to constantly call and text to get updates and I only received updates after inquiring. Apparently, even after a negative test the person in charge, Nick, decided to pull the entire team and told us that when one of the other crews finished for the day that they would send them to us with no real idea of when they were coming. So for the next several hours we waited mostly patiently. I called and texted multiple times with little response and every time I was given a timeframe it ended up being twice as long as stated. The voicemail was even full at one point (even though I personally had only left 1-2 messages spread out over several hours of no word) and I had nobody to contact as our entire moving party who had driven up three hours to help move was waiting around to see what was going to happen. The movers finally arrived around 4 o’clock and the guys themselves were very friendly and helpful. When they arrived at the house to drop off the items and receive payment I had requested some sort of discount. Nick, gave me a 10% discount. I stated that was not acceptable for the trouble that we had gone through and he basically said too bad. I understand being careful due to Covid but with a negative test he definitely could have sent the other two guys. The guys would not put the bed together because they had not taken it apart. The reason it had been taken apart was because people were waiting around the house for eight hours for movers to show. I feel certain that their hands were tied due to directions from their boss. This was supposed to be a gift to my 8 month pregnant daughter and son-in-law who were moving into their first home to cut down on the stress of moving and it ended up being way more stressful for everybody involved. I own a business and if something like this happened there definitely would have been more than a 10% discount. And of course youR items are held until you pay so I couldn’t refuse. Oh yeah, I initially booked 2 guys, then he called the day before and talked me into 3 guys since the first place was upstairs and it would take a long time. We ended up with only 2 guys and they completed to move in 4 hours. In recap, the move that was supped to begin at 8–10 didn’t begin until 4 and was done by 8pm. Then 5 of us had to drive 3 hours to get home. I rarely give negative reviews and I definitely give positive ones as often as possible. When Nick told me he would not give me more than 10% I told him I would be sharing reviews and he said “fine”.

Average Experience
Not satisfied with the prices. They said one price and charged extra after the job got done. The crew members were nice and packed everything carefully but some of our belongings got damaged. We got compensated for the loss after we made a complaint to the manager. Overall, it was average experience with them.

Great Service. No damage
I picked Family Movers Express, even though it was not one of the compnies referred by movers.com. The office girl that picked up the phone sounded very nice, polite, and quickly I realized i made the right choice. They had my entire 3 bedroom house loaded in 3 hrs. The unlaod was the easy part since we were moving into a storage unit and no pick up had to be done. The owner, Nick came out to check everything was good, and check on the guys too. Great work, I ll use them again

Great guys
My crew was Alex, Robert and Tom. These were by far the nicest movers I have encountered in Central Florida. They re polite, prompt very careful, and cared enough so that we had no damage on our furniture. I have used plenty of moving companies here, and I can tell the difference

Great Workers, clean truck
The guys just finished my move to Davenport. We had a lot of stuff and it took a while. It was a long day but the guys worked without a break, even after we offered food and drinks. I have no complaint, I would use them again
