JUST DONT DO IT!! If you want to save your time, money, stress and getting CURSED out by the OWNER, just run!! The positive reviews are all fake. They give you a reasonable quote and at the offload point they will DOUBLE it, claiming its for a transportation surcharge of 18% of the TOTAL along with other fees and taxes on top of the increased rate. They don't send you a full contract in your initial estimate, so you won't see it until you sign the papers when the movers come to take your stuff. NO WHERE in the contract has the 18% surcharge, so they can say and charge you anything at the end of the day. Paid $600 more than the initial quote. TERRIBLEE customer service. Bobbi the manager screamed at us and the owner Shawn Thompson cursed us out and told us to "f*cking listen, or we'll just bring your sh*t back to our warehouse" and "go get a tutor so you can learn to read". RUNNNNN as fast as you can! They need to be shut down

I am more than satisfied with their service and treatment! When I contacted the company through online quote, I quickly got a follow up call from them, I got all important answers I needed. I just moved locally, but I wanted my move to be done by serious people. I definitely made a good choice. The guys came on time and packed my furniture and wrapped carefully I saw them load them carefully. They worked hard, they were professional and efficient. All the pieces of my furniture were wrapped properly and nothing broke on delivery. I knew everything would stay intact. I knew I was dealing with professionals. These guys did an awesome job! I am extremely satisfied and I will use this opportunity to recommend Fresh Start Moving!

SCAMMERS
This company sent an estimate and contract to the wrong email but Luis verbally told me a price and referred to it as a flat rate. I paid on Venmo, and then when they called to schedule, Bobbi quoted me a price double what was originally quoted due to an hourly fee and stair fee I was never told about. I cancelled and am now being told I cannot be refunded due to their cancellation policy- which I neither received nor signed. I never signed a contract and never received service from this company. After many e-mails and calls to this company, I've been yelled at, threatened, and told to stop calling. I do not recommend this company!

severely under quoted and the sales person claimed to be the owner of the company and owned trucks that made possible for lower bid. Moved from Arizona to Utah and had a tight turn around. I sent out for quotes and was contacted by Scott Hinson. Scott said he was the owner of the company,that he generally shows up to the moves to ensure everything goes well,they own their own trucks and was a family owned business. He gave me a quote and said he was being very transparent and other companies would try to give low bids then hold stuff for ransom demanding increased cost. He said he has been in the industry for 24 years and because they own their own trucks was able to give a good deal. I had to give two days availability to move in case of issues. Day of the move turned into 4 days later with no real communication. I never heard from Scott,the Dispatch kept changing the date stating if I didn't like it I could go with a different mover to which I didn't have time to find one. Finally showed up Monday morning at 5am (scheduled pickup was Friday morning). When the movers showed up they immediately said this is larger than previously told. the cost ended up more than double what I was supposed to pay that day and the whole process was more than double the quote. I also found out the company was not family owned and that Scott was a broker and the movers were from an entirely different company. I had an additional unauthorized charge to may card from the business for $496. I had to call several times in order to get a refund even though they said it was charged by mistake on their end. A month later I am still waiting for this refund to reflect on my account. I was going to have them store my furniture,but after their delay I rented a storage unit and had them deliver. The delivery drivers truck broke down so he was late. There was a charge to transfer my furntiture to a smaller truck to get it to the storage unit. And to top it off the driver tried to get me to rent the Uhaul. When I refused he yelled and screamed and threatened not to deliver. When we called his manager the manager informed me there were no issues and told the driver I was not going to rent the Uhaul. On delivery,the driver fought with me about getting a receipt as we were paying cash (as per the companies requirement). He kept threatening to stop the delivery,would not allow me to take pictures of him or his partner. Dumped my furniture into the storage unit. made no effort to ensure nothing broke. I am still trying to get a refund for the gross misquote and extra charges. their offices keep putting me on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time or transferring me around to other extensions. At one point I ended up back on the line but with another customer instead of the customer service agent.
