They are currently being investigated ...

They will literally rip you off and will leave you without your goods for almost a month. The federal agents need a solid proof with time stamps of when they double or triple the estimation. With that proof they will be locked up in jail so others wont be spammed again. Also, the bad reviews in here vanishes after few months. There were few bad reviews written around late aug 2016 to mid oct 2016 and those reviews were gone. May be movers.com get their share of getting their name in here. Read more

Moving Scam

Anyone reading this review should be on notice that this company should be avoided at all cost. My experience with this company was horrible.Currently they are using the name Long Distance Movers, previously named North American Van Lines. They are scam artist. It took a month to deliver my furniture which was suppose to be delivered 3 days after pickup. Missing was over ten thousand dollars of furniture and personal items. Much of my furniture was damaged beyond repair. They will lie,cheat and deceive in anyway possible. Once you receive a price quote via emaill, it changes when they come to pickup your furniture. This company has gotten complaints from almost every customer who used their service. Avoid at all cost and check with BBB before hiring any mover. Read more

DO NOT USE GRAY BULL

Liars and crooks. Worst customer service experience of my life.Actual price was double quoted price. Movers provided no indication of additional charges from quote until everything was on the truck three hours later. Movers refused to substantiate their measurement of actual cubic feet on truck. Glass table top broken in transit and kitchen table damaged by extremely rude mover dragging across the sidewalk at destination. After complaining and jumping through hoops filing a claim they offered to settle $700 damage for $64. Read more

UNPROFESSIONAL, DISREPRECTFUL, RUDE

RIP OFF MOVING COMPANY!!

I WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY NOR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!! Received a call 2 days before the scheduled pickup date from Rebecca telling me that the quote she had given me was to low for anyone to come out and move my household items. It was changed to 2400.40 and she wanted to know if still wanted to use them! DUH, 2 days before I was moving didn't give me a chance to find another mover!! Movers showed up late with a smaller truck. The quote was voided because I had boxes , washer and dryer that were considered bulk items!!! So, the quote went from 2400.40 to almost 5000.00!!! BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSNIESS WITH ...

BUYER BEWARE….DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GRAY BULL VAN LINES TRANSPORTATION. I received a quote to ship 1 Bedroom suite, mattresses and ~13 boxes from Atlanta to LA, California (studio sized) from this want to be transportation company Gray Bull Van Lines. After reading general reviews online about the importance of providing dimensions, I made sure I measured everything and provided very detailed information to the sales rep who secured my business from Graybull. She was very good about telling me all the "right" things about ensuring my shipment would arrive on time and I received quote for ~$1300.00. I explained I needed the shipment to be picked up by August 23rd and arrive the week of Sept. 5th because I was helping my daughter move into her apartment. She assured me that would not be an issue. The drivers arrived a day later than scheduled….after packing everything, the total to ship increased to $5200.00 of which $1000.00 charged for packing material/labor. The reason provided for the additional increase was due to the "size" of my items even though I SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED DIMENSIONS FOR EVERYTHING...EVEN THE BOXES!!! In a nutshell, the driver explained to me that their system calculate dimensions based on 'standard' furniture. Needless to say we were furious and they had us by the balls because everything was packed on the truck. Once your goods are loaded there's nothing you can do other than pay to have them removed!!! The owner acknowledged her representative should have known better and we ended up agreeing on $3000.00 to transport the furniture The shipment did not arrive until SEPTEMBER 24th.... Yes, one full month after it was picked up. My husband and I WASTED MONEY ON 2 AIRLINE TICKETS, ONE FULL WEEK OF HOTEL FEES AND CAR RENTAL. Each time I called to get status of my shipment I received the same standard response....."Someone will contact you when we are packing your shipment and give you 24 to 48 hours’ notice prior to arrival. I eventually got blacklisted and the receptionist would say the dispatcher was out of the office the many times I called to get some sort of update on my shipment. I’ve never heard of a company not able to, or willing to provide an update on the status of a shipment. NEVER!! When the truck FINALLY arrived in California, the driver refused to unload the shipment because of a no parking sign in front of the building, and because it was on an incline, even though security officer AND the leasing Manager authorized him to do so. The apartment complex has over 600 units and that was the ONLY place transportation companies unload. After many phone conversations, the dispatcher, Sergio, decided they were going to put the furniture in a holding storage facility and we would have to pay ADDITIONAL charges to have a smaller truck deliver her goods.
