Have Not Paid Damages Claim

Green Van Lines HAVE NOT PAID MY MOVING DAMAGES CLAIM files 12/16/22. I have tried reaching out to them through email and phone and have not been able to get any response. They damaged many of my belongings during my move. One of my plastic containers was soaking wet and ruined many of my textbooks as they were very moldy by the time the items got to me. In addition, my piano looks like it was dropped. The top key cover on the piano is broken and at least one key doesn't work anymore. All my boxes arrived looking like they were thrown and stomped on. In addition, they subbed the delivery out to a third party which I was unaware they were going to do. The quote was significantly less than the actual cost. During my move, they were hard to get a hold of and I was told multiple times that my things were on the way when in fact they had not left yet. I paid them way too much money for them to treat me like they don't care at all what happened to me or my belongings. Read more

Liars and DESTROYED my furniture

This business has stolen their name from the one in Texas.!!Not the same company. I used them to move from Plymouth Ma. To Be. They lied to me telling me that the same truck that picked up my furniture would be the one that delivered it. This is why I went with them! My furniture was moved to a 18 wheeler, stored in Louisiana and then moved 2 other times. I called and ask where my things were and a woman named Maya who handled my moved lied to me. I spoke to each of the truckers and have their numbers. When it finally arrived it was delivered by Southern Van Lines out of Atlanta and they could not read English and everything THAT was marked in hugh letters FRAGILE WAS ON THE BOTTOM. I had other people's furniture. My new leather RECLINER scratched all over and cord into. My SOFA was MISSING along with other things. My valuable paintings destroyed.  They only wanted to  give me 700.00 DOLLARS. I have put in complaints everywhere I could. They should be put out of business!! Read more

I wish I had found this company before hiring a broker -- which I will never do again. Green Van Lines was actually the mover who came to pick up our things in Rochester New York, and I have to say that I have been consistently impressed with the folks who loaded our things and Angelo. He was calm and patient in the middle of a difficult experience with the broker -- and has answered all of my questions even when I repeat questions because I have been so stressed I can't keep his answers in my head. His staff treated my partner well as our things were being loaded in New York -- which is especially important to me. Now, our things are in transit to Colorado, and I will know who to go with in the future. I expect our things will get here without a hitch given the communication, clarity and transparency demonstrated by this company's staff. I have no reservations were we to need a moving company again to use Green Van Lines. Grateful to Angelo and all of the staff. 1 Read more

Angelo and Rome of Green Van Lines, Inc. (Clifton, NJ) assisted me with my move from PA to VT (Pick-up in PA on 10/13/16; Delivery scheduled for 10/18/16 in VT). Both employees exemplify hard work and professionalism in this field. They were meticulous in their packing and loading of the van, and I feel most confident in the security and safe arrival of my belongings. In particular, Angelo provided excellent customer service, and I am most appreciative of his, along with Green Van Lines’, ability to accommodate my move in such a short time frame, as well as provide such a fair price. Likewise, the pride Angelo takes in his work was also evident in his taking time to provide careful instruction to his colleague with less moving experience on how best to pack items to ensure the protection of their client’s belongings.
