Over charged and took twice as long

We moved myself out of a 2 bedroom apartment and my sister with her 1 bedroom storage unit into a house together. We were quoted a 4-6 hour timeframe. all locations were within 2 miles of each other. We had previously done both these moves with 5 people in a total of 4 hours. They arrived at 9am and did not leave until 7:30pm. 10.5 hours! It took them 4 hours to move out our 2 bedroom apartment. And we were all packed for them. All they had to do was move it. along the way they broke several heirloom glasses and a bookcase. They also laid the kitchen table in the middle of the floor and when I was directing them I tripped and fell on it hurting by backside and elbow. At the end of the day they sent in the largest man, whom we hadn't really seen all day, to give us the bill. We did not have enough money on us as we did not expect the cost to go from $660 to $1500. I have contacted the company hoping to resolve this. I was told that it just took longer than expected. Never use this company. Run away. Run far away. Read more
