Jim showed up with two other experienced movers. They handled the majority of the packing for us and showed a lot of experience and professionalism. Him and his guys were a real pleasure to work with. We noticed there was a bad review and that was not our experience at all. Do NOT Hire

If you are searching for a moving company that epitomizes all of the worst attributes and fears associated with the moving profession then I highly recommend you elect to do business with James Hewelt. My experience included: -Showing up 3 hours late -An inability to answer and/or return phone calls after not showing up on time. -Promising two men to help move, yet one of the two movers was a 16 year-old child. -Broken furniture -A complete lack of accountability for the professional negligence of his company. After being quoted for two movers at four hours of moving, James provided one man and a boy, which netted over 8 hours of moving time after arriving 3 hours late without any notifications or correspondence. After finally arriving, the movers informed me that “we did not even know about the job until a few hours ago because Jim received a bigger job for him to do today.” While the movers attempted their best to remedy the situation, the frustrations continued to mount when the 16 year-old mover had to be coached on how to move, literally, every other piece of furniture. While delivering the furniture the movers continued to exemplify a lack of professionalism as they played games of “who could run up the truck ramp faster?” Attempting to contact James after the move was nothing short of a debacle. Messages were not returned, and he was conveniently away from his cellphone for hours at a time. However, after hearing that I was reporting broken furniture, he promptly called me. It was all too convenient. James was uncharitable, rude, and insulting regarding my feedback about his appalling customer service. It is abundantly clear that James’s integrity and character needs to be called into question and ultimately held accountable. Sadly, his business and employees reflects his neglectful leadership. In short, aside from maybe having your property moved you’ll also enjoy movers showing up late, paying twice your quoted price, paying for on-the-job training, and dealing with a professionalism that makes the 3 Stooges appear competent. I recommend James and his business to no one and seriously pray that he reflects upon his own business integrity. Read more
