We called two guys and a truck to come out and give us an estimate this past Thursday. The owners son in law walked through saying no problem and could move everything. The movers get here saying they didn't even have the basement in the schedule. They didn't move everything out of all the rooms. They didn't put blankets around anything. They split one table down the middle that had dwars in it. They broke a spindle out of the guard rail banaster upstairs. They lost the top spindle piece to a 6 thousand dollars clock. They were with us from 9am to 3pm. Then claim they had other clients. We came back home. Then we decided to go to two slobs and a truck in person.the gates were locked by the time we got there at 4:30pm yesterday when they were supposed to move us completely out. They were supposed to stay open until 5pm. I got videos of all the rooms and damages. And I got a video with my mom calling this two guys and a truck as we were parked outside the business when mom kept getting a recording saying we are with other customers at the moment. Then we had stuff we needed to put in storage. He took it somewhere claiming he was going to store it at the business until Monday. Then they had a kid that kept talking like a gangster from the old twenties movies. I kept telling him to talk normal. He was talking like he was high or something. I couldn't understand what he was saying at all. Then they had a small area in the truck of somebody else's stuff asking me if it was mine. Worst moving experience ever

I don't normally give bad reviews as you can tell from all my other reviews. I normally give businesses the benefit of the doubt. Not for John Mitchell Two Guys and a Truck! I had a terrible experience moving with them. The office personnel were great. But when it came to the 2 guys that moved my furniture, I was so disappointed. To start, when the guys arrived. The older white gentleman kept complaining about being sick and saying he should've taken the day off. When we explained the house we were moving to was all upstairs, he voiced to us how he didn't like that. Then I witnessed multiple occasions, where the guys were just standing outside talking, not doing anything! When they were moving my hardwood bedframe, they didn't have furniture Dolly's to roll the bed down the hallway. They put the wood bed up on its side, and slid it across the whole house, down the hallway, through the livingroom to the door! What moving company doesn't have furniture rollers?! Then as the guys were moving our stuff, they kept complaining about our stuff, saying they wouldn't buy IKEA or different brands. The older of the two kept complaining about our stuff and talked bad about our "bed in a box" style mattress. I had to leave for work, so I left them with my fiance to finish things up. Well to cut this review short. They couldn't get my queen side bedframe in the master bedroom, they said they couldn't get it to fit. (When I got home I personally moved the bedframe into the master bedroom in less then 5 minutes by myself. It just needed taken into the bedroom doorway across the hall first.) To make matters worse, when we hooked up the washing machine, it started leaking water everywhere. It was only a few years old and never leaked before. My fiance said they bounced it down the stairs at the old house without any regard to being gentle down the steps. The repair company said it was a cut seal inside the unit probably due to the blunt force dropping down the stairs. It took about 2 weeks of fighting Two Guys and a Truck, and calling every day, but they finally sent us a check to pay for the repairs. I would not recommend them to anybody! Read more
