Don't Judge a book by its cover!

This moving company was referred. I had never used a moving company before and was having second thoughts for many reasons. I seen a previous review online and got even more discouraged. My gut told me to continue with moving service. Moving day arrived - John and his 6 movers arrived on time (8a) with the truck and all equipment. Again, I asked myself why did I hire Johns Moving Company - because they were referred! Movers began to move items and load the truck. We go to the house and movers unload and place furniture where instructed. John himself reassembled the furniture with help from 1 or 2 movers. My house was moved into within 2.5 hours. John and Movers completed the job by 1030a and was on to the next. I would use Johns Moving Company again because they are prompt, efficient, and fast. I have no complaints or regrets and i would definitely refer or use this company again (but im not moving anymore lol) Read more

BEWARE!

Had my house moved by John's moving company. Given a quote for $700 and after he completed the work he said the price would be $1200! He disassembled my desks at the site of origin and then when he delivered it he dropped them in the new place and did not reassemble the items?! Dont be fooled by his low estimates. Its true you pay for what you get!! I would suggest finding someone else. If you go with him because of his low quotes make sure you get him to sign a contract because he does not stick with his original price. Lastly, make sure you confirm all of your items are reassembled before you pay him. Read more
