I wasn't happy with them at all.

I wasn't happy with them at all. When they delivered the furniture to my new home they just put the boxes everywhere in the house and I had them marked where I wanted them to go but they just dropped them wherever they wanted to, They also broke the cord on my desk. The cord that goes to my desk so I can't have power to my desk anymore. They broke my lateral file so that it doesn't close right anymore. I was just very unhappy with them. Read more

I don't know where to begin. My furniture was scratched badly. The pricing was steep. My mattresses were very expensive mattresses and they dragged them. They're filthy. That's uncalled for. You don't do those things people. I was very unhappy with our move. Read more

They won't return my calls and left my ...

They forgot to take off the couch [off the inventory] which took off about 60 cubic feet and replaced it with smaller items for this huge couch. They tried to charge me $200 more. Plus I still haven't received my bed, they left it in NJ, I had to buy a new one because they won't return my calls. Read more

They didn't connect my washer and ...

They moved my washer and dryer and didn't hook it up correctly. My recliner, they tore apart the side, so I'm going to have to replace that, so. Read more

I have missing items and they ...

They scratched a table and the television. I'm also missing a remote control for my bed and the power cable for my television isn't here. I still have a couple boxes, but there's a couple things I'm looking for. Those things were packed when they came in to move the bedroom furniture and the power cord was attached to the TV and the remote was in a nightstand, and now it's nowhere to be found. Read more

They've missed a box of items worth ...

Experience was not expected as we wanted. We paid almost $2000 to move out things from Omaha to Atlanta. It's almost going to be a month, but some things have not been delivered. They missed our TV, and they have missed a box of items tat have a pressure cooker, blender .... and it was worth almost $600 to $700. Read more

I wouldn't recommend them for anything. The movers were really slow. They parked the truck all the way up the street instead of pulling in my driveway. They charged me an extra hour, which was $200 an hour. Read more

Their communication could have been ...

They wanted to come a day early, so I met them a day early ... They were going to deliver everything on the 28th of August but they had some problems with their truck so they weren't actually able to deliver anything until the following Monday. And I'm still waiting on a bicycle that they didn't deliver with my other stuff. Read more

They never showed up

It was a very bad experience. Ultimately they never showed up at the time, even on the day, that they said-the last day-it was a window to have our stuff delivered, they never showed up for pick up, and just getting information about the time that they were going to come pick our stuff up was like pulling teeth. Nothing but respect for these guys

It’s only when you hire movers then you realize how hard of a job moving really is. The movers from Joy moving and storage were just unbelievably hard working. They showed up early on the moving day and got to work immediately. Their packing skills were seriously out of this world. Every single piece was packed so delicately. The moving process went without any issues. The delivery was made right on time and not one piece suffered any damage. Definitely not cheap, but does the job

Joy moving and storage had one of the highest quotes among the few companies I called. My sister kept telling me how good they are so I hired them anyway. Let’s face it, no moving is cheap. In the end, whether they can do the job properly or not is what really matters. They delivered each and every item of mine in the exact condition they took them. That is a mighty achievement. On top of that, they maintained their timings and the movers were very friendly. There was no hidden cost added to the final bill, which is a common practice for many moving companies. They were quick and didn't damage ...

They were just picking up a piece of exercise equipment ... They managed to get it out ... Without hitting walls or tearing up the stairs. ...The did a beautiful job setting it up in my house, nothing damaged. All very quick. There was a misunderstanding with the ...

The move was all set up and they were very helpful initially. I think there was some misunderstanding - I wanted to pay with credit card and the movers, we agreed on certain payment terms, the actual truck driver, when he arrived with the items, he insisted on cash and kind of upset the whole payment term that was agreed upon. The main office wasn't able to figure it out in time and the driver had already left. It's just that it was not what we agreed upon with the company. Read more

We were leaving Dallas, TX and moving to a new apartment in Chicago, IL. We were quite crunched for cash. That’s why when Joy moving and storage gave an estimate that seemed too low to be true, we just hired them. It turned out to be the best decision we made during this move. The movers were absolutely fantastic. We own a huge couch and getting it out of our apartment could have been tricky. It was no big deal to the movers. They carried it like superman and maneuvered easily through the hallways. It was a brilliant performance from these guys. The delivery was made on time as well. I have never had a move go so well

Relocation is tough! Joy moving and storage takes on the responsibilities off my shoulders. I hired them to move my stuffs from Dallas, TX to Baltimore, MD. They were fantastic. They arrived on time and started packing everything. I was expecting issues here and there. But to my surprise, there were no issues whatsoever. Everything went so smoothly. They maneuvered through my narrow hallway and a tricky front door quite easily. The delivery was made on time and nothing was broken or damaged. I really couldn’t have had an easier move. I hired Joy moving and storage for relocating from TX to AZ. It was a very wise decision. I never saw any mover gives this much dedication. They brought everything that is needed for relocation so that everything goes perfectly and it went so. Nothing was broken or lost. And it was done at my old place within the mentioned time. The communcation and the packing was ...

They were on time. They took pretty good care of our stuff. ...We had a buffet that goes in the kitchen ... But they just came in and wrapped it up and threw it on the truck and they didn't make sure that the shelves inside the cabinet were secure. It got a little banged up. ...When I made the appointment with them I told them that the main reason I was getting movers was because I had a brand new refrigerator ... And that I did not feel comfortable moving it myself ... They were gonna have to take the doors off so I wanted some professionals for that. And he's like, "Oh yeah, no problem. We'll take care of it." When it got time to take the refrigerator into the house, neither one of the movers had any idea that that was happening, they had no idea how to do it, they had no tools to get it done. So I basically had to do all of that myself ... The whole point of hiring them in the first place was so I would not have to do that. I ended up paying a couple hundred bucks for something I ended up having to do anyway. So there was no communication there. ...I probably would not use them again because of that. But aside from those two things everything was great. They got stuff where I wanted it, they were nice, professional. No issues there. Read more
