Would Not Recommend

I did not see the negative reviews before hiring Kane Movers. We were down to the wire on time. We had a major difference of opinion on what we should have ended up paying. We moved ALL of our boxes,bins and small pieces of furniture ourselves. Emily told us that before the move we would go over what had been moved for cost reasons. In the end the price didn't change despite the fact that we moved so much ourselves. So we feel that we paid too much. For having wrapped the furniture we still ended up with scratches and dings on every piece. The tops of my 2 kilns have gouges on them. The big one came in partly disassembled with the top hanging off. Haven't tried them yet. Praying that they work. Make sure that what is written on your contract is absolutely correct. Moving is hectic and we didn't realize until too late that Emily never contacted us to update the number of items on the contract. We would not recommend this company. Read more
