Kustom moving came in as the lowest bidder out of several moving companies, which made me a bit nervous, but we were low on cash and Walt was very professional during the in home estimate, so we went with them. Great decision. They were fantastic. Walt and his crew got the job done in no time, with no damage to our property. They loaded and unloaded our stuff in an amazingly short time. We even got to sit down and have a little lunch with his crew, great guys. Do yourself a favor and go with Kustom moving the next time you need to move. They were not the worst compared to ...

They gave me a great deal to pack a pod and move me from our home to an apartment. The didn't break anything but there were a few minor nicks in a couple of pieces of furniture and we discovered a tear in our mattress (after the fact) BUT Mr. Jones was there each day to ensure that things were handled professionally and that our property was carefully handled. If he were not there, I don't think that would have happened. The only major complaint I had was that they did not pack the pod with all of the items they were instructed to and were packing things that they were told not to pack even when everything was clearly marked. Toward the end, they started grabbing everything no matter if marked for packing or not! Overall, I would give them a C+. I would use them again with close supervision byme! Read more

Wonder how Kustom Moving is still in ...

I had an extremely bad experience with KM. They gave me a very good low estimate for moving. Walter, who was my contact at KM, spoke well in the beginning. However, he is extremely unprofessional and rude. Firstly, he said he will give me boxes for "free" for packing. He delayed bringing me the boxes by ONE full day, and he did not remember until I called him a few times to ask for the boxes. Then he came 2.5hrs late for loading. I had to scramble for packing and missed some appointments because he was late. Then he bullied me into paying $50 extra for being "late" at my new location, although legally I did not owe him a single penny more than what we had already agreed upon. I had the receipt which he signed showing how much I owed him upon delivery. He told me his guys would not start unloading unless I paid him $100 extra for being 1hr "late". Seeing that I was not buckling down, but that I had no choice, he started bargaining, and settled for $50 extra. I would recommend staying away from Kustom Moving. They have a C- rating on BBB. Items were broken and scratched.

Items broken, scratched. They didn't pick up all my furniture in the first haul. And then left some things when they went back to pick the rest of it up. I had to go and retrieve that. Read more

paid the deposit that they charged ...

Actually I ended up not moving with them. I paid the deposit that they charged and nobody showed up at my home. I called the guy to ask what happened and they were saying that the movers were going to be at my house and nobody went. Then I kept calling and calling and calling and nobody answered. On the day of the move nobody showed up, I had reserved the elevator at 8:30. I called the guy and he said, "oh we're on they way, we're almost there," and nobody showed up. After that I continued to call them and nobody answered. It was just the answering machine saying "your call is very important to us" but nobody actually answered, not a real person. Read more
