Very courteous, guys worked fast, they didn't sit around, they were moving all the time. It was a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator so they had to carry everything down steps and they just went into a 2 level home, but they did a great job nothing was broke. I'd recommend them. Great Service!

I hired movers to load my truck as I was moving out of state. Not only did they take great care not to break anything, there was not a scratch on a wall or an item not able to fit in the truck. I was worried that I rented a truck that was too small, but with careful arranging, it all fit perfectly! The two movers were professional and efficient. Fantastic. Very personable,friendly. They worked really safe, they had good equipment, they had nice trucks. They wrapped everything-it was sprinkling out that day so they wrapped everything in plastic to keep it dry and unwrapped it all. They moved quick so it didn't end up costing any more money. Buyer Beware!!!

The movers involved in our move were unprofessional, and so inefficient that they admitted to playing with matches (the mover's words). As senior citizens, we wanted to have others do the moving. These movers left so many items at our old house that we had to make 5 trips in an SUV after they "finished" to get all the items they left in closets, bathrooms, etc. The company didn't care at all about the poor performance of the moving team. Their response to all issues was either "we are sorry" or " the moving team gave a different account and we believe the movers" This company doesn't care about the customer, but cares only to collect the customer's money. We were shocked that movers could be this bad and still be in business. I would guess that this company has both good and bad movers. we got a poor team and the company will not recognize that they need to both train their staff and develop better quality control procedures. The movers were great but the quote was significantly off and almost every piece of furniture I have has some kind of a ding in it. It wasn't a good experience. They should quote appropriately. I specifically requested they come out to the house, I was half done packing when they looked and they still got it way wrong. The estimate for me was supposed by $2,600 and it was $4,000. Not happy. The crew however was good, but the damage happened in transit which means it didn't get wrapped good enough. They were on time, I'm just unhappy about the end result. Not the crew. Read more

The move was very good and the guys were excellent - they did a wonderful job. They wrapped everything and I was very happy with them. The price was competitive and I would recommend them to my friends and family. I only had to go five miles, so it wasn't very hard. I would recommend them highly. Excellent - the two guys were excellent. They were very efficient. Took it out, put it in. Took the mirror off and put it back on. Put everything where I wanted it to and dresser moved to put some stuff they brought from the move. They moved the dresser for me and put it there. Did a good job. Pricing was excellent. Anytime I would recommend them. For future customers I will say I would use Local Motion anytime. We didn't use any packing services. Read more

It was a short distance move, only about two hours, but the movers did a great job. I didn't have anything that they needed to pack. They just had to move the appliances from one place to another and then switch it with another appliance and bring it back to the first location. The two guys were really strong and did a fine job. Very bad experience

I recently moved within Minnesota and the company I hired for the move was terrible. Five men and two trucks came to my home, and they were not on time. They charged me an extra $850 on top of the quoted price. They were totally unprofessional and the crew was rude. I would never recommend them to anyone. Read more

I paid double the charges than what was initially given as the estimate. It took them a second trip to move my grand piano. The disassembling and reassembling of the piano took them a very long time which increased my expenses. Read more
