I had a very negative experience

They gave me a quote and told me what it would be after three hours it would go up to 85 or 87 dollars an hour. I told her i had a sleeper sofa and she said that would be 100 dollars extra. Then when they got here they saw I had a mechanical matress that goes up and down, they said that would be an extra 100 dollars. Then I told them I had stuff in the attic which everyone has an attic and they said that would be another 100 dollars extra. when they got here they didn't get half the stuff out of my house. What they did when they got there there was one guy would come in with one arm load they didn't use a dolly. there were two guys outside. So they were dragging the time out they didn't work in tandem to they didn't work like all of them bring stuff outside the whole time. Then they stopped in the middle of it they didn't put the beds back together, I only had one bed a captains bed. A twin bed for them to move. They Set it down they didn't put it in the right room and didn't put it together. they turned around and said that would be 700 dollars. I said I didn't want to pay it and they called the owner and she said she would call the police so I said I don't want to deal with you guys so I paid them and said here is your money just go. Well they said they left their tools at the old home I said well that's fine but I have to run an errand first which was in a near by town so you can come back later and get your tool kit you can have that. Then the owner started calling me she blew up my phone threatening to call the police and i talked to her and I said i was in another town and I couldn't do it right then but she could certainly have her tool kit right back ya know I didn't have a need for it. But she kept calling me blowing my phone up and my email. Just very unprofessional behavior. So I called her and told her i was home and ill put the tool kit on the porch. Then she came and started ringing my doorbell and I wouldn't go to the door. My experience was very negative I put a very bad review of her on the better business bureau website that no one should have to go through that. Because those guys, I think she doesn't actually have a moving companies, she rents a place and then when someone wants to move and hires her she rents a truck and hires riff raff people off the street. And when they came i knew they were trouble because they weren't well groomed or anything like that so sure enough they were just going as slow as they good. They did bang my door some and they left deep scratches on my living room floor that i could not get out. Now I am trying to sell the house and they gave me deep cuts i could not get out it would take a professional to get those scratches out or replace the boards entirely. My recommendation is to put her out of business because all she is doing is taking advantage of people. Read more

Very misleading about services ...

I was scheduled for a move on Monday. I was called on the Saturday before and was told they would not be able to move me on that date and with such short notice, I certainly couldn't change moving companies and they moved me to Tuesday. When the movers came, first of all it was three men who did not seem happy about the number of items they had to move which was fully disclosed when I spoke with Karen. When they brought the items here, they didn't want to put them in the rooms they left a whole bunch of them in the living room. And then when they told me the price, I said did that include the discount Karen said they would give me. And they said no. So I called Karen, and she said let me speak to the main guy who was moving and I handed her the phone, and she ended up giving me a $30 discount. But what she said when she had to change the date was that she'd waive the upstairs fee which was $100, so there certainly was a difference there. Read more
