Terrible Company. DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE THEM!! Warning any and all people even a little interested in this company. They will lowball you, increase the prices tenfold, FORGET YOUR BOXES AND IGNORE YOIR MESSAGES AND CALLS, AND I ended up having to call the police because I requested to see my things before paying the balance, which I only asked due to them leaving them. My tv stand was broken, my bookcase was DESTROYED, and my desk was taken apart and delivered WITHOUT ANY SCREWS. They then refused to remove any trash and refused to put anything together and refused to take any responsibility due to all moving being done by subcontractors. Max Moving is a scam and so is every single one of their "cross country movers" that they supposedly have across the states. I was given SEVERAL times and none of them were correct. Do not use. Homeowner beware

No communication once your stuff is picked up. They came and moved everything into the truck from the house efficiently. when the truck was loaded the driver tells me now my bill is over double than what I was quoted. Upset I was way over budget for the move told them to unload the truck because I couldn't go over my cubic for space that I didn't have the money. they dropped the bill a bit. driver talks to someone in the office and asks me when do I need my stuff. it was Wednesday. told him I get the house on Friday. so Friday or Saturday would be good he's heavily sighs and nasty say fine ok. moving from NJ to NC. Was told 2-3 days. on Friday I call multiple times trying to get an eta on weather they are delivering Friday or Saturday. told on the phone they will talk to dispatch and get back to me. no one called me back. Saturday comes and no one one is answering the phone. if you could not deliver on Labor Day weekend they could have told us. now I'm paying on a house with no furniture and having to sleep elsewhere my pets in boarding. Turning into an expensive move. Their contract that they make you sign ain't worth nothing and after they loaded my stuff on the truck. my husband was talking to one of the guys on the truck told him our items may have to get loaded onto truck for delivery. that's bull crap and risks more damage. now it's Sunday and still nothing Read more
