3 VERY GREAT MOVERS

Moved on 5/14/2020 movers showed up on time and eager to work (Cody 212,Isiah 39, Payton 519) these 3 men loaded all our house in 45 min. Most of the items were very heavy they didn't complain once. When we arrived at the new house they were unloaded it 40 minutes . they took a few thing to the basement. These men work great together and I thank them very much . They were good all the way around!

They were on time, prompt, professional and efficient I mean they were good all the way around! Pricing I think was comparable but we ended up choosing them because they gave us a flat rate not an hourly rate and we liked the peace of mind that they wouldn't be rushed, they'd be able to take their time. When all was said and done, it probably was about the same amount of time spent by the other companies and probably about the same amount of money spent, but we were happy with our choice. They came a did what I hired them to do. Very efficient, no damaged, I was very pleased. I didn't know what the price was supposed to be, but it sounded reasonable so I wen't with them and they stuck with the pricing. Read more

The movers were great, but dispatch ...

The movers were good, the dispatcher wasn't so good. I called two weeks in advance to schedule my move and they called me that morning to tell me that they were going to be late. They were going to be there around noon and I called back at around 2 because no one showed up, and finally when they did come at 3:30 they had just received the job, the three guys that came (they were great). But I don't think that's the proper way of scheduling something for someone who scheduled something two weeks in advance. Read more

NOT SO GOOD

Would I call them again to move me? NO!!! I don't think so!!! Why you ask??? Because they never made it right with me, and until they do... I would never recommend them. I can't recommend people who are not honest with others. I search high and low for movers... They were average on pricing... But here's the problem. I ordered 3 movers, they showed up with 2. When I told them I ordered 3 movers, the guy in charged told me... This is what I get. I thought to myself, that's not right... but... If they can finish the move in the allotted time... I would not complain. Guess what??? They didn't finish in the allotted time. ( I will say the 2 worked hard and fast ) So I had to pay for another hour. I called them the next morning and left a message for someone to call me back. NO ONE DID. They sent me an email several days later asking for a testimonial... When I wrote exactly what happened, the owner or someone called me and left a message for me to call him back. I called 5 times... 1st 2 I didn't leave a message... I was always told he just left the office. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th time I called they told me the same thing, and I asked them to have him call me back... HE NEVER DID. The 5th and last time I called I was told he had other businesses, so he was just hard to get a hold of, but he assured me he would give him my message. So either he doesn't care about customers satisfaction or he never got the message. Either way... He called me once and never tried again. As an owner, I would want to make sure my customers were satisfied. OF COURSE when you go to their website and look for the testimonial I left, you won't find it. They NEVER posted it. APPARENTLY they don't post negative ones... How honest is that? The 2 workers did work hard and fast... Other then a few wall and furniture dings and feeling like I got ripped off ( which isn't good ) I would have rated them higher and would probably have recommended them to others. Worst experience of my life

I was very upfront with everything I had. She told me I would get two trucks and four guys. At 8 a.m. I got one truck and three guys. It ended up taking them until 10:30 p.m. to move because there wasn't enough guys. They were very angry and agitated about all of the stuff that they needed to move. The first thing that said when they walked through the door was that they expected the gratuity to be paid separately. Halfway through the move they mentioned gratuity to me again. At the end of the night when I gave them gratuity, he basically threw it back at me and told me it was unacceptable and that it was a ridiculous amount we paid for this amount of work....he said you had a lot more boxes than you told me that you had online...he's like, "I'm gonna go do an inventory". Walked around the house, did an inventory--claimed I had 200 extra boxes, which was a lie...and they unauthorized a charge on my credit card for $500 more than what they quoted me. Read more

They handled my furniture very carefully, and the staff members were very courteous. The price was good, actually a little bit lower than other companies. I was very pleased with the fact that they moved everything that I needed moved. They were careful with items and everything. They worked straight through. They didn't slack off. They got everything moved like it needed to be. Pricing was reasonable. It was a little bit more than what they had quoted me for but it was like $100 more than what they quoted. Father's Move

My move with Metro Wide went perfectly. The start time window was 8-10am and they called around 8am to say they would arrive around 8:30am. They showed up, were very polite, professional, and quickly loaded the truck. Our move which entailed over an hour drive was complete by 10:30 am. I've used Metro Wide before and had an excellent experience then as well. They are one of the few moving companies in KC that will give you a guaranteed quote and that is the main reason why I used them the first time back in 09'. In addition to knowing that you are going to pay the price that was origanlly quoted to you at the end of your move, they employ very courteous and professional young men. They also beat all other moving company prices in KC; I know because I checked just out of curiosity. My move was very well, I was very pleased, I was very happy, I don't have any complaints an I will use them. This is second or third time using them.
