UNPROFESSIONAL

I initially thought this would be a great and seamless experience when I hired Mikes Movers back in April. However when the two guys FAILED to Saran Wrap my items as promised I had an item damaged. After a ton of back and forth on the day of my move and then in the WEEKS following, I am still here without being compensated. I was promised and told I'd be paid for my claim but that NEVER happened until they eventually just stopped responding to me. UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE. Read more

It was wonderful and the price was ...

I wasn't yet completely packed up, so bless their hearts, they moved what they could move and they were fast and efficient. They only dinged one wall in my new house ... They worked really hard ... Took them five hours to move two miles ...

They took five hours to move about a bedroom and a half worth of stuff. It's literally two miles away, and it wasn't that much stuff. I've had other companies do it in like two hours. I was their last move of three moves that day and they were already tired. Read more

Overall it was a good job!

They showed up about an hour and a half late, but other than that they did a great job. The guys took their time to take care of everything and get everything shrink wrapped and padded and did a pretty good job. No stress moving!

From when I called the office to when the guys were done unloading my truck the move was great. Very easy to book and they even send you a contract so you have all the fees and nothing is hidden. They moved pretty pretty fast

I have a problem. What happened was they did a pretty good job as far the moving goes, they moved pretty pretty fast. But what happened was that they did not install the beds correctly back how it was. I called them and they said that it was a courtesy for them to put the beds back together. They charged me for so many hours and that should be included in that time. It was an hourly rate, it was a lot less than I would wanna pay so that part was very good. Everything was organized

It went very well. They showed up on time, everything was organized, and they were very nice and helpful. The movers were very nice, very sociable, and very professional. They blanket wrapped and shrink wrapped the big furniture. The time frame was pretty much exactly what we though it was going to be. They gave me a hourly price quote, they said it would probably be about 6 hours and that's what it pretty much ended up being. Read more

Great Movers!

I used Mike's Moving for several moves within the Orlando/Kissimmee area. The first time I used a Groupon...and they did such a good job, I called them back for my second move. The movers were prompt, friendly, and careful. I would suggest them to anyone needing movers. I spoke with Mike personally, which is a rare thing to talk to the actual owner, and he was helpful and pleasant. I will definitely use them for any other moves I make. Did an awesome job and GREAT price!!!

I called Mike to get a quote. It was $70 an hour and I have a 2 bedroom. He estimated 3-4 hours for my move and they were done in 2.5! They were very careful with my things and also quick. I was worried with an hourly rate they would drag their feet but, they worked really fast and did not break anything. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Read more

They were really good, they were really efficient, they got what I needed to have done, and they kept it in a good price, everybody else was too high price. They took apart my bed and they took apart my daughters bed and a bunch of different furniture pieces, but they were really efficient. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family. I have moved at least 15 times in my life and career. Since I am retired now cost was important to me. Mikes moving not only was competitive but were very polite and professional to me. Unlike any other movers...MIKES IS BAD ...

I was quoted about 70.00 per hour and that is what they charged, no problem there. The two men were nice enough but that is were it ends. I gave them only two items that were glass and both items were broken. I told the men accidents happen and as long as the company took care of it don't worry. Unlike other movers MIKE doesn't cover glass. It is on page 5 of a 6 page contract and when you are moving and your life is in such turmoil who reads 6 pages of LEGALESE. and THAT IS WHAT COMPANIES LIKE MIKES MOVING DEPEND ON. They won't tell you in advance that they don't cover glass breakage because if they did you would hire someone else, AND THAT IS MY RECOMMENDATION, MIKES MOVING? HIRE SOMEONE ELSE. Read more

Mike from Mike's moving is not a ...

I chose Mike's moving to move me from my old place to my new place. I assumed everything his men hauled in their truck of mine was covered by insurance, boxes and furniture, etc. Usually, all companies cover damage, missing, etc whether it be in a box or not as long as they were responsible for moving it from place to place. I realized after the move that a box was missing, an important box as it had gear that my husband needed for his job. I searched and searched at home before I called Mike about it and it's no where. I then called him the next month and told him, yet he tells me he doesn't cover boxes. Then he says he will check with his men and see if anything was left etc. He did, and it wasn't he said (but it also could have been stolen as well, he doesn't know for sure!), then he checked with the person who was moved right after me to see if it was in her things, again no. I told him that this was really important and didn't think it was right that I just have to eat the expense of purchasing what was in the box again, especially since one of his men carried a large table of mine into the house on top of his head whereas he wasn't looking what he was doing (because he couldn't see with it above him duh!) and he knocked out the light bulb inside a brand new light fixture in the entry way of my house. Mike wasn't told about this from his men (of course cause they don't want to rat on themselves!) yet I told him because I didn't mention it before because I just let it go as that is all the damage it did, but I could have gone after him for that damage, again but didn't and told Mike I had no reason to lie about this box. In fact, I had to call him each time about this, when I left messages, he never called me back! We finally came to an agreement where he agreed to pay me at least half of my loss (it should have been the entire amount and it would have been the right thing to do as I was only asking for $50!, yet he agreed to pay me $25 if I would sign a waiver whereas I wouldn't review his business as bad, yet guess what? He didn't keep his word! I called him over and over about all this for over a month. He emailed me the agreement, I signed it, however I never got a check to this day, so that agreement is null and avoid and is why I am now revealing his bad business so no one else goes thru this. I had gone over with him before he sent the check out (he says!) my address to make sure he had it correct in where to send the $25 check. Well, over a week went buy, no check (no surprise?) I left messages, etc. Finally got him, he said the check was sent back to him ( I asked him if it was because of the address? He said he didn't think so but he didn't know why because he had thrown the envelope away, (yeah right, an excuse I'm sure!), he said he would send another one out he next day, it's been over a week, again no check!
