WORST MOVE EVER!

This company sent 2 men who destroyed my home! My leather sofa is ripped. My newly installed wood floor is scratched and dented. My wall is scratched. My expensive dining room table is broken with screws and a plastic piece falling out. My stairs are scratched. The 2 men they sent did not come with the proper equipment. They did not have a power drill,a commercial dolly,or the strength to do this job without tearing up my house. It will cost me a lot of money to fix this. The supervisor,Mike,was continuously calling them throughout the entire job. He was more concerned about the start time and money received than delivering a quality product. My kindness was taken for weakness and my home was destroyed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BEWARE! When my sofa was ripped as they were bringing it into the house,the young man says,�oops I know that sound�. They told me that there was no nut and bolt unit to attach my china cabinet to the base because the top was so heavy but there was a attaching nut and bolt. It was hanging from the china cabinet. They said not to move the dining table from the top and only move it from the bottom but if they had not split the wood and put it together properly this would not be an issue. Read more

Took advantage of my elderly mother

This moving company is the most unprofessional moving company I have ever experienced in my life. They were hired to move my 62-year-old mother’s furniture. They quoted her one price over the phone and once the movers arrived and started moving her stuff from the house the price went up 900 more dollars. Instead of the movers leaving and giving her time to call one of us they continue to move her things and charge her for the service. Now mind you, the whole house was already packed. All they had to do was move the furniture and the boxes into the truck and transfer everything to a storage unit. My mother lives on a fixed income as a veteran and someone who collects Social Security and they took advantage of her. The movers were yelling at my mother when I called to check on her and she was very upset because she did not have enough money to pay for the moving service once they arrived at the storage unit. The price changed from $900 to $1900. She paid them $1200 and they took her mirror and her treadmill and told her that they would keep it and give her for 30 days until she came up with the rest of the money. I called the general manager Michael Crepso and he was very arrogant and rude on the phone. He wouldn’t allow me to talk. He was talking over me through the whole conversation and then told me that I should give him respect as a “man” and that he was not afraid of being reported or taken to court. Moving

I would have given this company at least 4 stars except for two things: 1. It is true what the other reviewers said about their raising their price from the original quote. My quote almost doubled after the truck got loaded. 2. Danny (who was "in charge" of the guys during the move), in the beginning, started off with an odd sense of humor and, about three-fourths of the way through, was such a complainer that he really turned me off. He mostly wrapped up smaller things while the other guys took care of the heavy furniture. We had vehicle trouble and their truck beat us to the destination. I gave them permission to go ahead in and start unloading things if Danny would call me so that I could tell him where to put my things. He did not return my call like I asked and when I got there a lot of the things were not where they should have been and Dany complained about having to move things twice and put them where I wanted them. He clearly just wanted to get the job over with and NOT care how it was done! The other movers were very polite and helpful and a pleasure to be around - I really liked Ryan and Eric - they had very good manners and actually seemed to want to please!!! Most of the things were wrapped very good but I have seen a few scratches on some of the furniture. A foot on one of my bookshelves got broken. Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4553 Read more
