They Lie

This company has been a nightmare to work with. They didn't show up when they say they would. They don't answer the phone or they put you on hold for hours. When we asked for our deposit ($1100 back), they finally showed up-- four days after the contract date. They wanted to charge $1000 extra for miscalculations on space. We gave a detailed list of every item and box. Oh and by the way, when they got there, we found out "we only take cash"! (we had confirmed with the broker that they accepted credit cards) It's now three weeks later and we just learned our stuff is still sitting in a warehouse in Colorado. No firm date on when we might expect to get it. I'm sure when it finally does come, they'll want an extra $1000 for something else. They have lied to us several times about details. Customer service is terrible--they say "we'll get an answer and call you right back." 3, 4 days later--no call back. It's a nightmare. Read more

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THIS ...

We were drawn to Moving Squad as they had good reviews online and sold us on the fact they weren't a large company. We realized after signing that they are Colonial Van Lines (same physical address). We were passed off to Colonial and our original contacts won't contact us back. It has been a month and we still don't have our items, with no estimated delivery date given. We have been lied to repeatedly from our "account manager", and informed from their finance department that we owed more money before our stuff has even been delivered. The experience has been horrible, and I hope this review will turn people away so they don't have to go through the same nightmare that we are having to go through. Simply do a search for Colonial Van Lines and read reviews. We just hope that we will someday see our belongings again, and they won't be destroyed. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THIS COMPANY! Reliable Services at an affordable ...

I have moved my children to and from College in central Florida a number of times. I have had horrible experiences with a number of movers over the years but Moving Squad did an excellent job. They said they could move in three ...

Well the move was going okay. At the end, I was scheduled with them for five hours. The guys told me 'We could do it quicker. We can do it in three hours. If we do it in three hours, you can give us a big tip." I said, "Okay, you do it in three hours, I'll give you a big tip." So we did the move, everything, and all that. So, of course, they did it in three hours. They gave me the receipt. They charged the credit card. Then I get a call back from the moving company telling me that it wasn't long enough; it was supposed to be four hours minimum. I'm like, you're movers said they could do it in three hours if I gave them a big tip. They agreed. I have them a big tip. And they said, 'No, it doesn't work like that.' If you want to get everything back, give me the big tip I sent them back, and of course, I'll pay you for the four hours. But why would the mover tell me that when I was signing the paper? Read more

terrible moving experience

5 hours ago Mike K.0friends1review We had a terrible experience with The Moving Squad.  Our first bad incident was when we told them we would need 2 trucks and they sent one.  They only loaded half our house and had to come back a second day where they proceeded to move our stuff in the pouring rain.  It was then sent to storage and when we got it back today, it was a mess.  We had several pieces of furniture that were broken and/or damaged.  When we packed, we were careful to use very sturdy, professional packing boxes so we knew our stuff would be protected. When they arrived today,  we had so many boxes that were ripped apart or open.  Several boxes were smashed as if they put extremely heavy items on them.  Boxes that were marked fragile were not treated any differently than the other boxes.  They took apart our furniture and wrapped it before it went into storage, but could not figure out how to put it back together today.  We had several pieces missing that are needed to put the beds together and they do not know where they are.  When we contacted the company, they were extremely rude and unwilling to work with us on correcting the situation.  We DO NOT recommend The Moving Squad. Great Movers

Moving Squad moved me form Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach, FL. They were absolutely amazing. They were on time, super friendly. Adrian and Anthony worked so hard that day. They took their time packing everything up. I have used other movers before but they were recommended to me by a friend so I gave them a try and Im really happy I did. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Ask for Adrian to be your mover he was great. Read more
