Mixed feelings

I arranged move one month in advance. The rep. Who visited to quote apparently was not properly vetted. Left under less than ideal circumstances I am told by office. She put wrong date in the book,never confirmed other than date she gave us in writing. Paperwork was lost. The moving fellas were excellent. The delay not so much. Beds all stripped,we were all ready to go. Very inconvenient. I would have thought offer ofvad least small credit would have been expected. No such thing. A Surprisingly Excellent Experience

Sold my 3,000+ square foot home in Niskayuna, NY and moved to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath luxury apartment in Latham, NY. The move could have proved challenging as the driveway at the house was extremely steep and narrow at the inlet. Additionally, I have a glass topped desk, a glass topped dining table, and some very delicate and expensive mid-century modern decorative pieces. The home while lovely is built into the side of a steep, wooded hill with a natural rock pathway to the front door. It pays to hire well know and well respected professionals. Not only did they manage the driveway, walkway and unusual floor layout to successfully move all the items without marring the oak floors, walls and doorways. My items were delivered as we discussed and NOT 1 item was scratched or damaged! The 2 gentlemen moved my items into the new apartment very quickly and set up beds, dining table, glass desk....... After almost 3 years I am moving again and will call Mullen Monday morning, 3/9/15 for another estimate. Read more
