DO NOT use Nationwide Moving
The company is Nationwide Moving (nationmover.com). I should have been tipped off that the company was terrible when they pulled up in a truck with a piece of cardboard taped to the drivers side of the truck with their name written in sharpie. First off, the company lied to us about being able to move my stuff before August 1st. They picked up my items from NC on 07/15/15 and said that it would be delivered to ME before 08/01/15--They said the distance was no issue. I moved up to Maine and had to sleep on the floor for 3 weeks and only use the clothes I packed in a suitcase, and had to go to Goodwill to buy kitchen supplied since ALL of my items were with the movers. I called every day telling them that I was living on my floor and they were completely apathetic. Their rebuttal was the distance between NC and Maine. My stuff was in NC until 08/10/15. When my stuff got to Maine 35 days later, the glass on my microwave door was completely broken, most of my furniture was skuffed, and my (dead) grandmothers ceramic cooking dish was shattered. WORST EVER
The absolute WORSE moving company ever!!! If you want headache, disappointment and frustration this is the company to pick! They came to pick up the move on the wrong day to start. The movers enter on my apartment as it was nobodies business and were extremely rude and aggressive! I was honestly scared of them. The feeling was that my apartment was being robbed! They took more than 12 days to deliver a 8 hour drive distance.. which could've been fine if they had not called and confirmed delivery literally more than 16 times. They would say We are one hour away. We will be delivering in the morning period (which you have to be available for any time in the morning since they can define a time range) ..So you take off work, drive to the destination where it would be delivered and nobody shows up or even bother letting you know they are not coming or are late. So you persistently call the company for any updates or delivery status. They would either hang up on your face, tell you they will call again (but they won't ) or put you on hold until you realize that they won't be answering the phone again and hang up. If you are lucky and somebody transfer you to your driver, they will say sorry we could't deliver in the morning, we will be coming in the afternoon. " Well you think, if they are one hour away, they are probably closer since it was confirmed to be delivered that morning. So you take off work again, and nothing! So now you repeat the process of desperately trying contact with anybody in the company. They give you a different delivery time to after their work hours, of course, so that you can't contact them again. This is the report of one day.. this same routine was repeated for 8 days until I finally decide to ask for my money back and to deliver my move where it originally came from. I was about to literally call the police! There is no way you cannot have any idea where the move is, or even say that it is one hour away for 8 days!!!! Super weird! The company have no clue where your move is. It is all under the mover's control instead of the other way around? I waisted so much time with this game that it's just not funny! You have to be available for them for whenever they can deliver since they can't commit to their own delivery confirmation. My boxes were move to 5 different trucks! This company is extremely disorganized and unprofessional! The customer service is the absolute the worse too!!! They would do whatever to get rid of you by putting you on a forever hold or saying they will call you back, but that would never happen. If you get to talk to them they are extremely unprofessionals too! I had the absolute worse experience and I would never recommend this company for anybody!! I have no idea how they are still in business!!

Nationwide Movers are so bad
Nationwide moving company sucks, dont ever go with it, they lost my items and they are not on time what they promissed, no professionlism and totally very very bad experience with Nationwide Movers. Manager or executive David is a very rude person.

Terrible experience
These movers did not show up until late in the evening. I didn't use them and am still trying to get my down payment back. Their customer service is not efficient and they do not answer questions properly.
