*DO NOT HIRE. I scheduled with Norm's over a month prior to moving my 80-year old grandfather. Confirmed every two weeks and the day before the move. Saturday at 9AM was our scheduled time. 9:15 comes, no one is there. I call and they inform me that a job scheduled for earlier in the morning was running behind and they would be there at 11:30. Ok, fine. Frustrating to say the least, but I needed to get his heavy furniture moved. 11:45, no one is there-- no answer at the office, voicemail 1 left. 12:00, no call back, voicemail 2 left. 12:20, no call back. 12:30 no call back, voicemail 3 left. I FINALLY received a call at about 12:50 saying that they needed to reschedule with us for the next day. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Needless to say, this was THE worst experience I have ever had. I told the man who called me to have his manager call me that Monday during normal business hours to discuss the situation. He never called. I called and left a message asking to speak to a manager on Monday and again on Tuesday. I finally used my work phone on Wednesday (today) to give it one last shot, and wouldn't you know it, they answered! His response to me was completely indifferent and he did not take it seriously at all. He actually had the audacity to tell me that "This stuff happens". Well... hopefully it doesn't happen to you.
