Great Job

Josh and Crew moved my family today and they were AMAZING! My family has moved 3 times in four years and this is the first move that has gone seem less because we chose Optimum this time. Josh and his crew wrapped everything up including miscellaneous stuff I had forgotten to pack. They were so neat and made it so easy. All of the furniture was packed and reassembled so well. First,I have never written a review on Yelp before. But I am so pleased with the extraordinary service I received I want to be sure to give Optimum Moving a 5 star review!! Justin (a co-owner) answered the phone when I first called and was very professional and very receptive to my questions. He was like that as well in two subsequent calls I had with him. He clearly understands the importance of customer service ! From talking with him I had a sense my move would be a good one --and it was!! The moving crew was outstanding !! I had items going to two different locations in two different states and they made sure there was no confusion about what was going there. Six --yes 6 --guys arrived at my house! They were just the best guys ! Professional,friendly--and extremely hard working !! My belongings were so carefully wrapped and boxed beautifully !! The foreman,Yaniv,did a stellar job being sure all was going well and that I was satisfied with how the move was proceeding. He dug right in there too with his INCREDIBLY hard working men : Thomas,Tyson,Mario,James,and Juan. I am in the midst of unpacking now and my things are in perfect condition and so carefully wrapped. These guys were just great ! They worked incredibly hard. And were just so nice and accommodating! Very good. I'd use them again.

Their salesman, Elvis, he was very knowledgeable, very easy to talk to and I felt a level of confidence when talking to Elvis. The guys did show up on time, they actually showed up earlier. They packed everything really quickly. We went over to the other place, everything was great, everything was packaged just the way I wanted it. They took extra care of some of the stuff that they didn't really have to do, but they did it anyway. They really helped me out. There was a bunch of loose stuff that I was going to take myself, but they just gave me a large box and said, "Throw it all in there and we'll take it for you." I thought that was really great of them. So I had a phenomenal experience. I thought they were very good and I would definitely use them again. Read more

phenomenal moving company

This company is hands down absolutely phenomenal. One of the owners, Justin, came all the way to New York just to give us an accurate in home estimate. The price which he gave was the price which was honored- no unnecessary up selling and no scams! His movers are so professional and so efficient. When moving to a new destination, John kept us updated on his whereabouts the entire time which was extremely appreciated! Excellent movers and a smooth ...

What I really liked about the move was that they came out, looked at everything, did a full inventory, gave me a firm written estimate and said "this is your price, there will be no changes no matter what" so it was really nice to be able to budget knowing that was going to be exactly the price and the day they came out for the move they reconfirmed everything, so that was one thing I really liked. And they did a good job making sure nothing got broken, and wrapping and packing and they were really very friendly and very nice. So generally I was very pleased with the customer service I received overall, they were very professional and they did a wonderful job. I've already recommended them to other people. I didn't really have to call customer service, because I called when I scheduled the appointment and they were right on time, they came and did everything, they sent me the written estimate, I called to confirm a couple of days before and other than that I didn't have to call them. They were running late one of the days because of bad weather but they called me to let me know they were running late, so it was great. There were really no issues. If I were to recommend them to my friends and family I would tell them that they were very easy to work with and they did a quality job. Read more

Finally, an honest mover!

I had a small and local move, but it was last-minute. Not only did Optimum Moving provide a very competitive rate, but the actual flat rate price was the same as the quoted price. Justin also helped steer me away from one of the many discreditable movers out there. The move was careful and efficient. I had an old end table with wobbly legs, and one of them broke. Optimum Moving could have paid for the repair by weight of the item, but instead one of their crew, Elvis, repaired the leg, and it is fine. Many thanks to the whole team! Read more

Easy and quick

It was great. It was very easy. Just everything was great all around - they were in and out quickly. They were very nice. They really did pack up the items into the truck. They were very careful, very conscientious, especially with fragile items. I received all the services that I requested. Packing was done to my satisfaction. We already did recommend them.
