Came way late, leaky truck and ...

They showed up several hours late and had no sense of urgency making us miss our closing appointment. After several frantic calls, the title company agreed to work with us if we made it to their office in Jacksonville by 5:00. We were unable to conduct a walk through and barely made it in time. The movers weren't concerned at all that this was a Friday and we would be homeless for the weekend. On the 3 hour drive, it rained, the moving truck leaked and soaked our mattress. The driver informed us, took pictures of the water running down the inside of the truck and our wet and stained mattress and called the office to register a problem. He told us the Office would call in the morning to resolve the problem. They promised to take care of the problem so we signed off on the paperwork. They never called back, when I called the person I needed to talk to was never available and they never returned my calls. Once they had their money, they couldn't care about us. The "family owned" company proved to be unethical. Beware of the initial sales pitch, if there is a problem you are out of luck. Read more
