Broken Plasma TV and Lost box

The movers worked extremely hard. My issue is with the little details the make or break a relocation. It is also with Atlas corporate. We paid for 2 Plasma TVs to be placed and packed in specially designed boxes. One was and it made the trip and the second was not and it is now not functional. So we filed a claim and it was denied because "there was no external damage to the TV". They also cannot find the missing box of kitchen supplies. This was a painful lesson because we signed off that everything was okay and counted for upon arrival. Most people do not do a full inventory because it would double the time of the move-easily. And by the way it was suggested to us not to in the past. My issues are two-fold: 1. I paid for the boxing service and did not receive; 2. How do win without "external damage"? Should I have just slightly cracked the screen for the appraisal company to witness? I really do not want to conduct business that way. I contend if they has boxed the TV I might still have it. Trying to be compensated for things without visible damage in this case has been a painful lesson and receiving compensation for missing items (just so we could replace our dishes) should not take multiple weeks and they are still looking for it!! Sorry for the negativity but this is the second time we have used Atlas franchises in under 2 years and my expectations overall for both the location outfit and certainly corporate were high. I had a wonderful experience with Paxton Van Lines! The process of moving is a very stressful time. When a representative came to survey my house, I was impressed with their expertice and advice on how to make my relocation as successful as possible. The delivery time was a little unpredictable but they did explain there would be a spread time of 10-14 days. The fact that my items arrived in good condition, the driver and crew were very professional, I was overall relieved!
