Prepare to get ripped off

Do not. I repeat do not use this company! The owner Marcus is a rude and a con man. I’ve used him for multiple moves before and I had been happy with the service. They use to show up on time and would complete the job in a timely manner. I recommend them to 3 different friends in the last year and they all said the same thing. They didn’t show up on time and broke several items. Against my better judgment, I decided to continue to support the business. Huge mistake. I was originally going to move on one date but was not going to be able to make it to Houston in time. So I text Marcus and asked if I could move to the next day or I would just cancel and go with someone else. He responded that he already had someone to move for that time and that he would have to ask the person if they can move early. 3 min later (awful quick) he responds ok they will be there around noon. 3 pm they arrive and it’s not even Marcus and the movers that have moved me in the past. It took them 2 hours to move me out. I’ve gotten rid of half my stuff in preparing for this move. When I moved in it took 2 Mexicans 1 hour to move me in. The guys started at 315pm and finished at 5. Putting us in 5 pm Houston traffic. It took me 1 hour and a half to drive 30 min plus I had to stop on the office and drop off my keys. It took them 2 hours. I called Marcus to ask if I had to pay for 2 hours worth of driving since they should have been there at noon. He was so rude. Told me I was trying to get out of paying and that he never said noon, he said afternoon and he could not control HOUSTON traffic or weather. He also stated “ you know those guys are independent contractors right? I don’t control what they do” What should have been a 400$ job ended up being 800$ plus I was nice enough to give them a 100$ tip. The movers were awesome and very nice, the business is crap. very careful and quick

I had to move from my apt with very short notice. I called this company and within the same day they came and saved my day. moving can be so stressful. The guys came in a helped me pack and unassembled my beds. They were very quick and polite. I have very heavy furniture but they moved it with ease. I would recommend them to anyone. Read more

Nothing used to protect furniture ...

I was recommended to Precise by Rooms to Go as one of their preferred delivery providers. PRECISE movers were on time but failed to protect the furniture in any type of way. They sat the cousins to my light blue cloth furniture on the cement walkway, placed the furniture cloth side down on the dolly as they squeezed it through tight doorways and the elevator. When I question why a protective mover blanket wasn't used I was told by the owner "it's on the truck". When I complained about the cushions being on the floor and getting dirty the owner was extremely dismissive of my concern; where the 2nd mover did acknowledge my concern and offer an apology. At the end of the move I offered advice to use a moving cloth in the future, a cloth would help to protect the furniture from tears and dirt. The owner then told me "The furniture was dirty already"and the he shrugged his shoulders as if to imply whatever- as he asked me for payment. Poor customer service, lack of professionalism, total lack of regard/concern for protecting furniture is the reason I rated them a 3 out of 10. Read more
