We recently moved 1 mile down the road and hired premier to help with the move. About 30 minutes after being their the mover mentioned there was a stain on my couch and said it was not them. I didn't think anything of it as the mark was small and i honestly didn't remember if it was their at the time. At the end of the move while the crew was removing all of the protection from the stairs and cleaning up the tape and boxes the driver rushed me through paperwork saying they had an overnight drive to South Carolina and needed to get on the road. While rushing me through he handed me a sheet of paper and said this just confirms we didnt cause any major damage. They did not advise that I should go check the old house after their second load and that signing this would waive liability of anything or i would have checked thoroughly. Thats what I get for being a trusting person and understanding they were in a rush to leave. I now realize the reason they forced me through signing so fast is because they were trying to hide the fact that there were black grease marks all over my new carpet on the stairs(THAT WERE COVERED WHEN I WAS FILLING OUT THE PAPERWORK) as well as the stairs at my old house. The marks were consistent with stain on the couch and the carpet was installed the day before so I know there is no way it was not from the movers especially with it being at the old house, the new house, and the furniture. It was a black grease like substance probably from the truck or dolly. THIS PLACE IS FULL OF SCAM ARTISTS THEY LED US ALONG FOR 2 WEEKS KNOWING WE ARE CLOSING ON THE SALE OF THE OLD HOME NEXT WEEK SAYING THEY WOULD MAKE THIS RIGHT. WE GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL TODAY STATING SINCE I SIGNED THE FORM THEY ARE DENYING ANY RESPONSABILITY. NOT ONLY ARE THEY OVER PRICED THEY ARE DISHONEST. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! Read more

The Worst of the Worse. Run!

This company demonstrated unethical tactics when addressing our damaged furniture. They insist on premium insurance and promise to repair or replace damaged items. The salesperson and receptionist are very smooth and rake you in. Don't fall for it. Just about every piece of wood furniture arrived with some type of damage. They arrange to have their appraiser assess the damage and then offer a pittance of the repair which did not include all pieces. If you disagree they then push you into arbitration which is totally wired. Their choice of arbitrator as well as their furniture appraiser are complicit in their deceit. It's doubtful if the arbitrator even reads the paper work based on his decisions. Premier and the arbitrator lack conscience and any sense of fairness. They could care less about the customer. If you see negative reviews heed them. Find an honest moving company and save yourself grief. If I save one customer from the hell we went through for over a year this review will be worth the time taken to write it and I will continue my reviews elsewhere. Premier is the worst of the worse. STAY AWAY!!

Sales person is great but the movers don't follow through tell you adding errors by driver and charge more, didn't show with packing paper, items broken but not discovered until moved out of my storage unit and refuse any claim because over 90 days. Great Experience

I was a little hesitant using a mover, as I have always moved myself in the past. The District Manager, Steve, came to my home to discuss all the possible options for my move. Although they were not the cheapest, I got the feeling right away that Premier would do the best job of all the companies I met with. I was in touch with my coordinator throughout the entire process, and move day went just as I anticipated. The crew was prompt and curtious. They protected my old and new homes with floor covering and door jam protection. The crew leader answered all of my questions, an the guys packing my items even showed me some of their techniques to protect my valuable items. Delivery was a breeze. The crew setup the house quickly, reassembled many of my items, and were even willing to help me unpack and take away the empty boxes. I would recommend this company to anyone in metro detroit looking to move. I have some friends that recently used them to move from Michigan to Florida, and they the same wonderful experience.
