It was fair, I wouldn't say excellent or bad, because what happened, I needed a medium size truck they brought a huge trailer, so we have parking [problem with all that trailer size.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I wish I had seen the reviews on this site before hiring this company. Our household was packed up and taken from Blowing Rock to Wilmington July 2016 and placed in storage while we were building a new home. We've just completed unpacking and some of the movers helped themselves to an antique candle stand from our deck, a snake skin guitar and all our sterling silver flatware, half of which was an heirloom. I've yet to get a hold of them but I'm not expecting any satisfaction since it's been over 6 months. They also ruined our dining room table by spilling something on it, wrapping it in a blanket and storing on end resulting in the whole end being warped.

They were very efficient. They were very hard working. They were very good at what they did. It was late so that may be why they couldn't set up my bed because they said they would. Then they said they couldn't, I guess because it was dark. I didn't have any lights in there. But I don't have any complaints about them at all. They were fine. They were really good guys.

They lost my cat! I wouldn't hire them ...
They showed up three hours late, they break some stuff. They lose our freakin' cat. They take about three hours longer than it should have, because they get paid by the hour. It was just bad, I wouldn't hire these people to move my trash from my curb to the garage.

Did a good job but charged for an ...
They were very careful with our belongings and they did a good job of, you know, moving us... We only had a minor complaint, but, you know, nothing you can do about that. Only one vase got broken, but that's just accidental, so there was no big deal... Well, that's our complaint: We were quoted a maximum of $350 and after they got all of our belongings in the new place, we wound up paying $431, so we weren't happy about that. They charged an hourly rate of $75 an hour, and the lady I initially spoke to said it really should take no more than four hours, so she gave me $300, you know, for the price. And then she told me that the most that we should have to pay would be $350, and that was cheaper than anybody... So we thought $350 was still going to be reasonable and that's the amount of money that we made sure that we had. But the problem was when the guys got there one of the guys needed to use the bathroom... and he didn't come out for half an hour. And then when everything was packed up and we were almost at the exit that we needed to get off of, they called and said, "Oh, we're running out of gas, we've got to get gas right now." So then we got to the exit which was only a few yards up and went into the gas station and we waited thirty minutes for them to fill up the truck. And then we were only a block away from the apartments, but then we went to the apartments and then they hooked us for that extra hour. That's why it went up to $431 and we thought that was unfair to pay an extra hour because one kid had to go to the bathroom and took thirty minutes to do it. And it wasn't our problem that they were supposedly running out of gas, I mean, that's not on us. Otherwise, that's the one complaint we had, we though it was wrong, it was unfair that we paid an extra hour, we weren't prepared for it and they should have absorbed that because... but they were polite and they were friendly, and they did a good job of taking care of our things...

I had a very bad experience with this ...
The BBB accreditation for this business has been revoked. I had a very bad experience with Primary Moving and Storage. Apparently there are theives in the crew. During a move from Asheville, NC to Wilmington, NC over the weekend of Nov 28th through Dec 1 my HDTV was stolen. Despite repeated promises from the manager I was never reimbursed for the loss. Terrible - not satisfied at all!
We were not satisfied at all. It was terrible, they damaged the furniture it took them 11 hours to move a two-bedroom townhouse, it was terrible.

Everything took too long and things ...
It took eleven hours with three men ... Which is ludicrous ... [It] was ten minutes away .... They arrived three hours late, then they walked in and they said, "Oh, no, we forgot the packing tape!" ... It took them an hour to go get packing tape. That's ridiculous and very unprofessional ... All these guys were really nice, but the guy who was the head of the crew was in the kitchen packing ... It took him three hours ... Within five minutes of him starting to pack he dropped two mugs ... The other two guys that were working in other areas of the townhouse kept going back to the head guy and saying. "How do we do this? How do we do that?" So they didn't seem like they were very well-versed in how to move.

They were punctual and efficient, they did break a couple things that I'm still waiting to get back, but other than that it was a good experience.

Overall Terrible Experience
My original post: Didn't want to rate it as "AWFUL", as it was cheap and you get what you pay for. If you have items that are valuable to you I would suggest other companies. I had items missing, furniture damaged due to being mishandled. Items were damaged due to falls. Have requested reimbursement for repairs with no luck. Guys came late and unprepared, didn't bring sufficient white paper or boxes and ended up using those I retained from prior move. The entire move took way longer than expected and I've heard that as a complain from others who used this company. I've removed my post on a promise of a reimbursement for damages. Must I say: that never happened. exuberance of messages and emails went unnoticed. I would never trust the business that uses lies and in vain promises.

The movers were careful and courteous.
Everyone was very courteous, the guys were very aware of trying to keep from making any damage in the house or to the goods. They were fast.

Pretty terrible situation.
It was pretty terrible, I'm still trying to resolve it but the movers themselves were nice. It was just the whole situation, they forgot to put my move in with their dispatchers so it never got dispatched that day, so I didn't end up moving until about 6 p.m. that night.

Very dissatisfied with them!
I'm very dissatisfied with them and they have yet to call me about some damages. They broke an antique birch wood rocker that I've had for 40-something years. The packing was sloppy, shoddy. One or two of the guys might have been knowledgeable about moving. They sent a short truck for the agreed price and they ended up calling another truck and two other drivers, and charged me an additional $725 more dollars before they even brought the other truck.
