Horrible movers stay away!!

They keep relocating... started in Ft Lauderdale FL, moved to CO then moved to IL! so unable to get reimbursement for missing items, broken items. Promised the white glove treatment.. got the trash can treatment! they even packed garbage! Items taped instead of boxed, held our stuff for 8 weeks after we requested delivery, Wanted more money! Biding estimate is nothing! There was no care of how stuff was delivered or packed! took over 24 hours to pack a 1500 sq foot house! DAMAGED MY CAR, DENIED LIABILITY

I hired GetitDone Shipping and they told me they partner with Quality Relocation. I was told it would take 5-7 days for my car to arrive by the brokerage company. It actually took longer than that, but that is not an issue. It is the damage and the nightmare that is the issue. 1. My car was picked up the day I was told it would be, but I was provided with literally less than an hours notice in the middle of a weekday morning. In fact, I even called the driver when he did not call me) to try to arrange a pickup time to avoid this exact situation, and he told me that he did not know when he would arrive the night before. I was told by the company it would be sometime in the PM. I was supposed to be provided at least 24hours notice. Clearly, I wasnt. 2. 7 days later on Wednesday I attempt to make contact with the trucking company. I leave emails, voicemails, and call multiple times. I have someone pick up and hang up on me. I am directed to numbers that dont have voicemails set up. I get no answers, and neither can my broker.3 I never got my driver's information until I called and called again. The recipient of the car, my roommate never got a phone call either. After attempting 3days straight of phone calls and emails to track this information down, I finally got someone at the dispatch center to pick up. 4. They were running behind, as I was told by dispatch and the driver. For me, it was no big deal the car came on Sat. instead of Weds-Fri. Again, it was the damage done.5. My car arrived with DAMAGE DONE TO MY REAR WINDSHIELD. Aside from my car being covered in sap, bird sht, and dirt, my entire rear window was broken. It was spiderwebbed from the inside, with various holes in the glass that protruded through to the exterior. The only reason it didn't shatter completely was because the heavy amount of tint I had was holding the glass together. 6. The driver didnt notice it? And moreover, he tried to go through the whole spiel that because it is an internal break, they are only responsible for external damage. Notwithstanding the fact that well, something jolted my car so much, that a piece of cargo broke the windshield (that doesnt sound like normal every day handling to me).7. He told me the only option was to call the main number that seems to be disconnected half the time. He told me I couldnt talk to his boss directly because his English is not very good." He wouldnt give me his insurance information.8. I will not know the full extent of the damage until I get the car washed and detailed. It was also returned FILTHY and covered in sap and dirt. But I can't wash it until I get a new window. 9. I was charged the FULL AMOUNT- $1100 Now I have on my hands a civil nightmare, a battle of the insurance forms, and I have to front all my costs of repair after expending $1300 to ship my car. SCAM - STAY AWAY - HORRIBLE COMPANY

If there's anything I ask of anyone in this world it is to not use QRS. The broker who matched us with them is no longer working with them. The BBB has even given up. The items that we did receive were damaged and broken while others are still missing after 8 months. A claim was filed for the damaged/missing goods that was for less than $50 - which we have not yet received. Read more

Problems with their scheduling and ...

They picked up all my stuff fine, the price was fine, I wasn't upset with that. But the delivery aspect -- they were never able to give me a date that my stuff would be arriving. I called up their dispatch a number of times and they told me it was on the truck or that the driver would call me, but if you have to set up a loading dock or get permits or those type of actions it would have been impossible to do so. When the gentleman came to collect my gear I told him that I'm living in an apartment building in Boston so I would probably need a shuttle truck to move things in and that didn't either get put on my bill or relayed to the guy who was actually doing the move and they showed up with a tractor trailer. It worked, but if it was a different time of day or something there could have been issues with it. It's done, but there were some things that could have been done a little better. The crew was fine, both guys, I had no problems with them. There was one table that was damaged and the boxes were kind of crushed, but there was nothing wrong with the contents of the boxes. But my one end table was damaged. If I could change anything about this moving company I would suggest better scheduling so that they could tell you the date it's going to be arriving and not rely on the driver calling you 24 hours behind.
