Highway Robbery

Your company totally screwed over my daughter and son-in law. The amount they had to pay to get moved was almost $3000.00 more than the estimate you gave them. If you can't do an estimate any better than that then maybe you shouldn't be in the moving business, and you're service was horrible. You couldn't tell them the moving day until 2 days before which isn't much notice when you have a family with a 3 year old and a 3 month old baby to think about. You showed up with a big enough truck for our stuff but it already had another families stuff in it taking up a lot of room so there was not enough room for our stuff. To remedy this two mattresses and headboards a dresser had to ride on the lift gate outside the truck and then we had to pile all kinds of extra stuff in our cars and trucks. When you loaded the headboard on the back of the truck you didn't put any padding in between them and the truck. I pointed that out to the guy and he said,"Well you can just repaint it". Of course the headboard did get scratched and had to be repaired. Then when the furniture was supposed to be delivered they wouldn't delivery it without cash or a money order,so my son-in law had to wait for the bank to open at 10:00 before he could get the belongings delivered. What kind of a company won't take a credit card for payment? You took advantage of a family in a vulnerable situation and way overcharged them. Seems unethical to me. Read more
