What a friendly and competent crew

I usually don't write on these review boards, but felt compelled after the very positive experience my wife and I had with Michael and Chelsea at Shepard's. After two horrific moves in the past(not with Shepards) we were apprehensive at best when it came to this move. Gil, my estimator, assured me that extra care would go into packing and that the price he gave me would be what I would pay on move day. I was initially attracted to Shepards because of Michael Leahy's professionalism and their "customer friendly" approach when he set up the estimate. Well, needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by my move with Shepards Mayflower Team. I definitely experienced the White Glove touch. At pickup, the movers were very polite and friendly and really took the extra care in making sure my Ethan Allen and Restoration Hardware furniture was protected. I received my belongings in Richmond 2 days earlier than expected and all of the furniture was in the same condition as when I said goodbye to it in Connecticut An oddity indeed for the moving industry!!! If I ever move again, I definitely would save the time of getting lots of estimates and instead would probably just call Shepards Mayflower based on this stress free experience. Read more
