My partner and I hired Simply Moving to pack and move everything from one apartment to another about 5 blocks away earlier this year. All in all we incurred several thousands of dollars in damages,plus the cost of the move itself including charges for boxes we didn't use. After months of attempting to get even so much as a refund for the empty boxes we were charged for Simply Moving has refused to even offer an apology for what happened. They damaged or destroyed nearly all of our furniture. Including a solid wood dresser that will cost over $1000 to replace,a $1000 lamp that's irreparable,most of our dishes,artwork,the list goes on. They packed things so poorly that it was as if the movers had never done this before. They charge you for every box and roll of paper,so packing empty boxes and then hoping you won't do anything about the extra charges when you realize must be their way of jacking up the price. When we initially discovered the damaged items we immediately emailed Simply Moving about this and were asked about the type of third party insurance we purchased. Said it would be up to 3 weeks before we would even hear back from anyone in their "claims department". Meanwhile,we continued unpacking and begin to find more and more damaged items that were clearly from negligent and careless handling. Three months later and Simply Moving has refused to fairly compensate my partner and I for the thousands of dollars worth of furniture and irreplaceable artwork they willfully destroyed. They insist that dishes broken into shards are in "almost perfect condition",or that a lamp with the plug broken off is totally usable. As what? A doorstop? They won't offer even so much as a refund for the empty boxes they fraudulently charged us for,or for the services we didn't receive. The complete lack of customer care is offensive after paying so much for moving and packing services. There's just no need to be so careless as a business. Simply Moving just doesn't care. Avoid Simply Moving.

They were very accomodating.
They were good. They showed up when they were supposed to and I had requested that my stuff not be put on a truck and then moved to another truck, and they did do that for me.
