This company lacks any bit of a professional attitude. Let me begin with I am a service member of the United States Navy in the midst of my first change in duty station. I scheduled and paid a deposit for Smooth Movers to assist in loading my families belongings a month prior to my move date. Brittany, who is over schedules, called and text me to confirm the move. They first wanted me to delay my move due to them being located in Metairie and my move taking place in Slidell. At that time agreed to the time of 9-930am (in case they ran into nonexistent traffic on a Saturday morning). A week after scheduling I was contacted via text message that my move MUST be rescheduled to a time of their preference or they will cancel. Now being that I have already reported to my final destination of Norfolk,Va and have made my flight arrangements for Friday night to arrive based on my leave availability Brittany of Smooth Movers in Metairie would have me schedule new flights or lose my deposit which she has yet to acknowledge. I would never recommend using their services to move a bag of trash let alone my families belongings. Read more
