DON'T HIRE THESE GUYS!!!

They could have not caused damage to furniture that they moved. So far we think they will have to replace an $800 cabinet, and there are other problems. I am sure we have not found everything yet, as they just left a matter of hours ago. One dresser is missing a leg. They had to know about that, but did not tell us. We would not have been as mad if they had told us of the errors. We were promised one thing on the phone and got another thing when they showed up. Two older guys complained, the shorter of the two complained a lot. They claimed they were not told how heavy stuff was going to be, they had not been told how extensive it was going to be, etc. We left a house 1624 sq. Ft. And moved into one a bit bigger by maybe 300 sq. Ft. The program here would not take my comments above, so i put them here. They quoted $168/hr. for 4 guys. We paid them for the time it took. They worked 1/2 day loading stuff into 2 trucks, went back to duq that night, then came to belleville the next day from duq. Read more

Wonderful Move

I recently was relocated to northern Illinois from the Marion area. I called upon 3 movers for estimates as my company requested. After receiving them the one from Southern Illinois Movers was the best. Rick was very informative. I was not able to do anything on the days of loading, such as packing and loading. They were able to pack on one and load the next which was very convenient for me. When Dave, Rod, and Don arrived to delivery my stuff, it couldn’t have been much easier. All furniture was placed and fit were I had hope it would. I unpacked it myself and was very impressed with how well it was done. Nothing was damaged. All I felt I had to do was watch it go so well. The price was appropriate. The service was Great. I have to say that was the Best move I could have expected. Read more
