Suddath Charlotte packers/loaders are ...
My new employer hired AMJ Campbell to move me but since they didn't have packers/loaders in my small town AMJ contracted out to Suddath. AMJ has been great but I've never had such a terrible experience as I have with Suddath packers and loaders. They were 2-4 hours late all 3 days and didn't give a heads up or even an apology. They were rude and careless and spent a lot of time on their phones when they should have been working as we were on a deadline. The china was packed well (by the only woman on the team) but everything else was just thrown into boxes (to the extent that the unpacking team at the destination made comments). Nothing was labelled in a useful way--many boxes weren't even labelled at all. When everything was delivered and unpacked there was about $4000 worth of damage: two bookcases totally crushed, a floor lamp taken apart in a way that can't be put back together, broken plant stand, a rolling toolchest crushed so that the drawers can't open, and more. Worst of all, 5 of 6 back cushions from my two leather couches have completely disappeared. From the beginning, a service that was supposed to make things easier just caused extreme stress. Please note that the quoted price was the cost of the entire move- since my new employer paid for it I don't know how much the Suddath portion was. But even if it was free, it wouldn't have been worth it!

Supportive Housing Communities ...
Supportive Housing Communities (SHC) is a non-profit agency in Charlotte, NC. We had the good fortune of having Suddath Company pick up Thanksgiving Boxes in November of 2016 from Charlotte Rescue Mission to drop off the Thanksgiving Boxes to SHC for the residents we serve. All of our residents have been previously homeless and now live in SHC permanent housing. As you can imagine, holidays can be a tough time for our residents. Suddath Company helped to make our residents holidays a little brighter by delivering turkey's and all the fixins. The delivery was smooth and organized.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
