Task: Moving a 126 year old cast iron claw foot tub, 200 lbs Obstacles: Had to go up 1.5 flights of stairs, pass through a narrow office, and make its way through a gift shop! Players: Quinton (Lead Mover) Dario (The New Guy)I found the clawfoot bathtub of my dreams on Craigslist yesterday and knew that I could not move it alone. I had just moved to Miami and barely knew anyone here to help me. I called last minute to get a quote for next day service and the gentleman on the phone was so helpful and so accommodating! He waited for me to get confirmation from the bathtub owner and had an answer for every question and concern I had about the job. Everything from moving blankets to how to pay on site with credit card, he had me covered and booked. Today I met up with them at the scheduled time slot (They called me about 15 minutes ahead to confirm that I was ready) and they were excited to get started. I gave them an overview of what to be careful of because this was not my place so we had to respect the storeowner. Quinton went over some paperwork with me carefully explaining everything I initialed for while he directed Dario of what equipment he would need; straps, blankets, etc. It was nerve racking for me and the shop owner to watch the guys hoist the bathtub up the narrow flight of stairs. They were doing fine but you never know whats going to happen that you don't expect. The stairs they were coming up from did not look like the most strongest and reinforced and you never know if the wood theyre walking on is rotten. They had a great attitude all the way up nonetheless and were present and communicative the whole time through. Once past the stairs, they made it through a narrow office where they maneuvered through in what must been awkward choreography. They managed wonderfully and made it to the final level, the gift shop that was active and open. Once again, they communicated with each other every step of the way including the customers, myself, and staff if they needed anything. Finally they made it to my car and loaded it up with ease. They offered to wrap it for me in bubble wrap and add an extra furniture blanket for the ride. I told them "No need" and we parted with the signing of paperwork. Amazing job guys

We've used Sun city movers Florida two times. The first time was for a move into our apartment when our house was getting built, and everything went excellent. And then, the next move was from our apartment to our house. This was a fairly small move of 2500 lbs of furniture and pre-packed boxes. Sun city movers Florida coordinated this move. They kept me updated, thoroughly going over all my options and paperwork necessary to complete the move. All representatives I spoke to were friendly and professional. The moving van was a new and really clean. They arrived a little ahead of their scheduled time with 3 men. They were professional and respectful of the antique furniture pieces to be moved. The truck was weighed prior to arrival for pick up and they showed me the weight slip upon request. I had added more items to my move after the initial estimate and expected the cost to go up. I was updated with the weight of my move the next day and told the additional cost. Prior to the move, I was informed of overweight charges per pound if this happened. The same 3 men stayed with the same truck during the move. They arrived at our home in Orlando about the middle of their delivery window. Again, the same 3 men offloaded the truck and placed all furniture pieces and boxes where directed. They carefully unwrapped the furniture and reassembled anything if needed. Very Impressed

This was my first ever time hiring movers and I’m never going back to doing it on my own again! I was nervous that it might be awkward having someone moving my things for me and that I would end up having to pay a ton because they would go slow but it was completely the opposite. I hired two movers from Sun City Movers Florida. They were on time and got started the second they arrived. In an efficient manner they looked over all of our belongings with us to make sure they kept them in good condition. We had one coffee table that was in bad condition to begin with and we told them not to worry about it but they insisted that it was important because it belonged to us. Not only were they careful with it but they also took a couple minutes to fix the legs of it and truly left it in better condition than they found it. Along with how quick and careful they were they also were extremely pleasant to work with. They were friendly and enjoyable to be around. They made sure we were comfortable with everything and they never complained about how heavy or awkward any of our furniture was. They finished the entire move in a shorter time period than we expected and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it before they left. My dad was also having a hard time carrying a couple things and they went out of their way to help him and make sure they put his needs first. Numerous times we would be going up the stairs at the same time as them and no matter how heavy the furniture was that they were carrying they always let us go first.
