On Point and professional

We could not be happier with our experience with Certified Movers. There were a lot of Movers to choose from and I am so glad I choose them. They arrived to our Chicago apartment in the downtown district on a Friday (busy Day) exactly on time. They were efficient and competent. And we had to be in our luxury condo at a certain time to move in. They arrived at the destination exactly at the time we had to be there. There were 3 professional movers. They were polite, efficient, and focused. They made us feel so secure. Everything arrived in good shape. They made my move bearable they packed all my stuff up very nicely and professionally had all the packing supplies you can think of on the truck , they gave me a month storage and then delivered when I was ready which was really important to me because my place was not ready and I didnt want to get my own storage unit and have to move the stuff myself so the 30 days storage was a huge help to me. Fraudulent Operation - Do Not Consider

authorization to be in possession of my belongings. There were at least 5 separate LLC's involved in this transaction and the entire scheme is fraudulent. They do not meet any of their commitments and you can expect to be missing a significant amount of your furniture, whatever return be severely damaged, anything glass is broken and they will DOUBLE the price once they get it on a Ryder truck from some random subcontractor they found to send to your house at 8pm on the very last day so you cannot back out. I have filed claims with the FMCSA, Attorney General in 2 States, CFPB for check and money order fraud, 2 police reports and will be contacting a number of other services to ensure they cannot keep taking advantage of people. No, No, No. Just No.

This company is shady. They picked up my belongings in my departure city on 06/24/20 and charged me $400 more than the estimate though my list was pretty accurate and I had actually sold some of my larger items. My things were not delivered to my destination city until 07/16/20. My paperwork estimated a delivery date of 06/27/20. I understand that the delivery date can't be guaranteed due to weather and such. When I contacted them on 06/27 I was told my belongings would be delivered 06/28. On 6/27 they also demanded I pay the remaining balance in cash or money order even though I gave them a check to cover half of the remaining balance when they picked up my belongings. They said the check would be returned, but considering they already had all my bank information from the check I was not ok with this. Their dispatcher threatened to not deliver my belongings until the check cleared (7-10 days) unless I paid the balance in cash or money order. None of the contracts I signed said my delivery would be delayed by 7-10 days if I paid that part of the balance by check. Eventually I relented and agreed to pay cash. On 06/28 I was told by the dispatcher that they would deliver on 06/29, but the driver said he was just leaving my departure area and would deliver my things on 07/01. On 07/03 I was told the truck was broke AFTER I contacted them about my delivery. On 07/04 I emailed about my delivery. No response. On 07/11 I texted and called and left a message about my delivery. No response. On 07/13 I called and left a message at a different number. No response. On 07/14 at 04:27pm I called and left a message with the driver that picked up my belongings in my departure city. No response. On 07/14 at 08:01pm my bank notified me that I incurred a return check fee because THEY TRIED TO CASH THE CHECK THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT CASH! There was no money in that account because I withdrew the money because they said they wanted cash. I specifically use a separate bank account for stuff like this for this very reason. On 07/15 I sent a demand letter. I demanded they deliver my things immediately, threatened to file a claim with the FMCSA, and threatened legal action. My belongings were delivered on 07/16. Their lack of communication was unprofessional and I shouldn't have had to threaten them to get my things delivered. Check out their recent Google reviews.
