Dishonest Movers
Excellent job moving our piano, and no breakage--arrived on time. But problems soon arose--movers had underestimated the size of the move, rented far too small a truck and the move took far longer--and cost far more--than the estimate. Felt like a bait and switch. Movers were unable to get two pieces of furniture--a couch and very expensive custom made bookcase--into our new home, and volunteered to store both pieces gratis until we found a new place for them. However, when we called to pick up the furniture, we were told that the custom made bookcase--"was no longer available," and if we wanted the other, we'd have to pay a storage fee! We assume they sold the bookcase.
