These moving superstars have rescued me two times. Moving my stuff to Hamtramck, and then 2 years later to Detroit. I had three super hero movers this time. Ultra fast, careful and funny. I know I ain't staying in this dump for more than a year, so I am gonna use them again. You can't go wrong with these men. Prompt, Fast, Strong, Polite. It's so much fun, it's like a party. I was all set up for moving of my furniture with another company, that cancelled 48 hours prior to my move. I called This Side Up Moving after reading an ad on Craigslist. Not only were they able to fit me into their schedule, their price was only slightly more than the previous mover. Very pleasant. Very professional. They got the job done really quickly. I was surprised how quickly. We expected it to take much longer. They didn't even slightly ding anything. They didn't even touch a doorframe with some of the stuff they were moving. It was fairly difficult maneuvering to get the furniture upstairs. But they did it pretty quickly. Flawlessly. Read more

Disappointed

They moved everything out however the moving truck got stuck in the grass. It took them 30 min to move the truck and I was charged for this time. They destroyed the neighbors grass. I was charged to repair. I sent photos to the company with no response regarding the damaged yard. Read more

Very professional, they moved all our stuff and we expected it to take way more time with just two people but they got it done in way under the time we expected and we didn't have to pay as much, which is always good. They drove my U-Haul for me, I paid for that service as well. They drove it for me, no dents, they didn't crash it, they didn't do anything stupid. This is a company I would never ...

He quoted me one price because he assumed he could get the job done in a shorter period of time. He initially told me his price and I told him he was too steep so he worked with me on a price and we set it up on $700 to move me out of my storage facility. However, once he saw the job, he went on to try to do the job but then he just wanted to cut out early without completely moving me ... So it was just a horrible experience. They didn't assemble my furniture like he said he would do once he got it here and I was missing items and he was very unprofessional when I called back. He was supposed to come back the next day to complete the move ... The next day was a no call, no show ... He never answered and I had to call from a totally different number to get him to respond and then he was just very rude at that point. So that is a company that I would never recommend. Read more
