Worst Experience

After no one called or showed up to move my things at my scheduled appointment, I called to see why. After several phone calls and being told I would get a call back, I finally got a call from a driver asking me to reschedule because they were behind schedule due to 2 broken down moving trucks. If anyone is familiar with moving from one place to another rescheduling is rarely an option so my answer was no. It had to be done that day. I understand things like this happen, but I expect a courtesy call from anyone I make an appointment with to let me know if they will be late. My appointment was scheduled anytime between 3-5. The moving crew showed up at 7 pm with 3 men. They took 3 hours to move my things out out of my small, 1st floor, one bedroom apartment to my new home which is 7 minutes away from the first location into a 3 bedroom home. One of the young men took it upon himself to plug his phone on a charger into an outlet in my kitchen and stood there for several minutes texting and answering a call. I was past the point of being reasonable because of their extreme tardiness and not having the courtesy to call a paying customer to let me know they would be late that I couldn't say a word to that young man or I may have gotten myself in trouble. The move should have taken 2 hours. It's not my first rodeo. I ended up paying for an extra hour because "they were tired from the job before me" and a young man was playing on his phone. A caring and competent service

I would say it turned out to be a good moving experience for us. Ours was a local move and the company we hired handled packing, loading and unloading of all our stuff very well. And we would suggest this company to our friends and family. Read more

Misquoted price!

Don't believe the quote!!!! My quote was doubled at the conclusion of the move. The movers were kind and professional BUT the estimated time was WAY OFF!!! Find a flat rate mover so you don't end up in my situation. Read more

A serviceable move despite a few ...

Although the beginning of my move started off a little rocky, it all ended well. To begin with, they arrived at my house on the day of the move with the wrong size truck. They told me that the bigger truck was stuck in Arkansas, and so they couldn't fit all of my belongings on the trucks they brought and had to come back for the rest. Disappointing move

I was thoroughly disappointed with this moving company because they had told me on the phone that they were sending three people over to help me move, but when they arrived the crew was only two people and it took them two extra hours to move everything. They damaged some areas of my house and on top of that, they charged me for the two additional hours that they went over time. Read more

Excellent move all the way through

This moving company was excellent and made my moving experience worthwhile and satisfying. The movers arrived on time, and the were very fast in getting the job done, while at the same time being very careful and making sure that nothing was broken or damaged in the process. Thwarted Non-move

We arranged with Transport and More, LLC for a move from Carrollton, TX to Ft Worth, TX at the rate of $65.00 per hour on a Wednesday. Unfortunately they didn't show up. After repeatedly calling the "contracted mover" and the sales person in the "office" we finally opted to wait for the following day. We rescheduled for Thursday morning 9am. We didn't hear from anyone so at 10am (ish) I called the office and was assured someone would be there. At about 12pm I called the "contracted mover" who stated he wasn't at the office and didn't have any paperwork with him. He said they had a problem with one of the trucks and were trying to get a rental, he thought. After many calls to them, we rescheduled for the following day, Friday. I called Friday morning and was assured they "would be there". 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours passed. After calls to the "office" and the "mover", I fpund they had another truck down. I finally got the managers number, called and got a machine, I left a message asking, please let us know, were they going to move us or did we need to find another company. Sometime later, I finally got text messages saying it would be in our best interest to find another moving company, as they probably would not be able to fulfill their obligation. We finally, after many calls and stressful moments, were able to geet a compnay who could move us on Sunday at a much higher rate, (because we were now in the middle of the last weekend of the month).
